-Willow- The dinner went rather smoothly, or as smoothly as it probably could go. I did notice many were intrigued by Cain’s attentive behavior. -Cain- “You have gone too far!” my father yelled, throwing the glass in his hand across the room and hitting the wall behind me. I was still trying to recover from last night. My head felt double the size and was throbbing. -Willow-After Cain came back, I got him something to eat. We stepped out of the shower, and I brought him food before I told him to rest. Yet the next morning, I couldn’t wake him. -Willow- “Carter?” I called as I knocked on Carter’s bedroom door. I had asked the servants where he might be, and their best suggestion was his bedroom. Yet as I knocked, there was no response, and when I tried listening to hear if he might be in there, I couldn’t hear a single sound. “Carter?” I knocked again, but there was no response. I sighed, taking a few steps back and then placing my hands on my hips, unsure what to do next. If he wasn’t in his room, then where was he?
