I hope you liked this chapter. I would love to read your comments.
Sebastian and I have been officially on the throne for three months and I am now miserably pregnant. My belly is absolutely huge and Sebastian loves watching me waddle everywhere I walk. I, on the other hand, seem to be nesting. I got all of the blankets for our little ones crocheted and I have been doing a lot of extra cleaning lately. I was cleaning the bathroom when Sebastian reminded me, “Babe, we have staff that do that. You don’t need to. If you want to do something for the babies, why don’t you crochet some more stuff. You could make little booties or hats for them. I smiled, “I think you’re right. Thank you.” I grabbed some yarn and a hook and sat down on the couch. I got up almost immediately and started walking away. Sebastian asked, “What’s wrong?” I sighed, “I have to pee… again.” He chuckled, “It’s almost over, babe.” I smiled, “I know.” I got to the bathroom and felt a gush of water. I knew I hadn’t peed, then looked down at the puddle under my feet. I walked back to the
My quadruplets are five years old now and we have added five more children to the family since then. We had a set of triplets when the quad was two, and then a set of twins last year. To say I have been busy would be an understatement. My triplets, Eddie, Cade and Damien are quite the handful. I’ve tried to get Sebastian to intervene, but he just says, “They’re just boys.” My twins, Allie, short for Allison, and Emma turned one today. We had a huge playground installed at the castle and our kids just love it. We are giving all the kids in our children’s age groups the day off from training so we can celebrate the twins’ birthday. As we watched all the kids play, Joshua asked, “Mom, does the quad have to be here?” I laughed because all the kids in our quad are way more intelligent and mature than they should be. By the time they were three all four of them knew how to read and were highly skilled on the computer. I sighed, “But don’t you want to wish the twins a happy birthday?” He g
As my brothers and I drove away from our childhood home, tears were streaming down my face. We were going back to college after a two week break and it broke my heart. While we were home, we found out that my mom needs a kidney transplant. It killed me to see such a strong woman in such pain. She is so strong that the reason she needs the transplant is because she was severely injured in a rogue attack. She has been living with only one and a half kidneys since she was pregnant with us. My brother Micah’s magic protected us during the attack and while she was healing. Regular babies would have never survived that. What makes it even worse is that my parents are true mates. My dad is feeling everything my mom feels and if she dies, he will too. They, literally, can not live without each other. Therefore, if my mom dies, I will be an orphan because my dad will also die. I am one of a set of quadruplets. I am a werebear/werewolf omega. My dad is a werebear/warlock hybrid while my mom i
The drive to ASU is a little long, but we really don’t mind. We spend the time on the way there studying for tests or reading chapters. If the driver of the day needs to read something, one of us will read it for them. Today, I was driving and I forgot to read my chapters for psych class. Considering this was a serious class that I really want to ace, I asked Micah to read the chapters for me. As he was reading, Zach and Alex chose to keep quiet. By the time the chapters were read, and I verbally answered the questions at the end of each chapter, we were almost at the campus. I asked the guys, “Anyone need to stop and get snacks or anything before we get there?” Alex nodded, “I do. I’m already hankering for a honey bun.” I shook my head, “You are crazy. Would you get me an unsweetened tea while you’re there?” He nodded on the way in and I grabbed a packet of Splenda out of the center console. Micah laughed, “You really are prepared for everything.” I shrugged, “We spend a lot of time i
Singarti took off like a shot from a gun in the direction of home. We retraced our run to the waterfall at full speed. I had to come to a screeching halt when my path home was blocked by rogues! Three of them, to be exact. I mind linked my brothers as I looked around to be able to tell them where I am, “Guys, I have three rogues in front of me, starting to attack. I’m by the hollowed out oak tree.” They all gasped and Micah linked, “On our way, sis. Try to hold them off.” I closed the link and ran into the group, grabbing the throat of one. I picked him up and slammed him into the ground, breaking his neck to kill him. The other two just stood there, not attacking me. Probably because I’m an omega. They would realize their mistake when my brothers ran to them and killed them by grabbing throats and shaking violently to rip their throats out and letting their bodies drop to the ground. I just shook my head after it was all done and linked, “That was almost too easy. They didn’t even pu
Two weeks later, after and extremely irritating ride home from classes with my brothers, I decided to go for a run before I eat dinner. I just wanted to get away from them for a while. Alex and Zach are bugging the shit out of me about finishing my degrees online. Zach kept saying, “But we’re supposed to be together! We were born that way.” Alex kept asking, “Why would you want to abandon us? You know we can’t get through our classes without your help.” I shook my head, “Micah can help you with your homework. And you wouldn’t need my help if you would pay attention in class and take notes instead of paying attention to your arm candy.” Alex gasped, “But It’s college. I’m supposed to sleep around and play.” I sighed, “It’s not my responsibility to make sure you behave yourself and pay attention.” When we got home, I put my bag in my room and told grandpa, “I’m going for a run to my usual spot. I need to run off some steam.” Grandpa nodded, “I understand sweetie. Be careful. The rogue s
When I put my phone down, Alex and Zach are at my bedroom door. I asked, “What do you want? Never mind. I already know. You want me to go to campus for classes. I am not changing my mind. I’m telling you one last time before I start kicking asses. I am not going to tell you again. It is time for you guys to start doing things for yourself. I will not baby you anymore. You will start paying attention in class and learning your shit for yourself. Trust me, you’ll feel smarter when you learn it the first time it is explained to you.” Alex looked at the floor, “I’m sorry, sis. I know why you want to do it, but we just have always been together. I know we will all feel incomplete without you here.” I sighed, “Guys, mom needs me more than you do. You know that.” Zach sighed, “We know that we just don’t want you to be away from us. It’s our job to protect you. That’s always been our job.” Just then, Micah walks in, “Forget about them sis. Mom does need you. If these idiots need help with hom
It has been a week since we found out why the rogues kept stopping me. Uncle Nico let them go and gave them the option of joining the pack. They went to get their families and belongings and chose to join the pack. Pack life is way better than rogue life. Rogue life is so much harder. They have to watch territory lines to make sure they don’t end up on pack lands where the alpha can legally kill them for trespassing. They are treated as sub-beings who are forced to hunt or fight for food. They are not allowed to own land on a pack, but there are always neutral lands to live on. They also have to fight one another for food, living space if they can’t find a rogue commune to live in, and they have to fight for pretty much everything they can get. If they are lucky, they will have enough skills to get a job in the human towns, as long as those towns aren’t on a wolf pack’s territory. Pack life is much easier. Housing is provided, food is readily available to everyone, jobs are available
