SIENNA

I smiled in my sleep, turning on my side and clutching the pillow to my body. I moaned softly, a headache settling at the sides of my head, earning a low whimper from me. I exhaled, not wanting to move an inch from my bed. I was so tired. I could barely feel my legs. I struggled to keep my heavy eyelids open, but then, the moment I remembered I had work to do, that was enough motivation for my eyes to snap open, meeting with an overly bright room that had me squinting my eyes at the sensitivity of the light.

Once I had adjusted my eyes to the light, my eyes darted to the grey walls of the room and I furrowed my brows.

When did I change the paint in my room?

My eyes wouldn't stop wandering around the ridiculously large room and I sat up, pain shooting through my body, eliciting a soft groan from me. There was nothing in this room that reminded me of my room. Everything in here was so strange, and I really didn't like this awful, awful feeling I was getting. I tried to remember how I got here, but my brain couldn't come up with anything. It didn't sit well with me.

I was as blank as a white sheet.

I tried to move from the spot I was seated on but I couldn't, the soreness between my legs wouldn't allow me to.

"You are up,"

With a speed so deadly, so shocking, I whipped my head in the direction of that masculine voice, my gaze landing on an attractive male that kept himself busy with doing his cuffs. He was dressed in a crisp white shirt that was tucked in grey slacks. His messy brown hair fell over his face. Then, he raised his head, and those amber eyes locked with mine, sending a wave of shock washing over me. A light gasp escaped me.

"Well, hello there, handsome,"

"I want you out of these clothes,"

There were a lot of giggles and gruff voices, giggles I recognized to be mine, but didn't sound like me because I would never sound like that on a normal day. I sounded drunk.

"Fuck!" I shouted, memories hitting me all at once. I tried to keep up but I just couldn't. It was all happening so fast. Crap, Alcohol was a total bitch.

"We had sex, didn't we?" I turned to him, cocking my head to the side. The corner of his lips twitched in a breathtaking smirk, and I found myself biting down on my lip. At least he is hot. That should count for something.

"I have told you," He strode over to where I sat, his eyes darkening in anger, and something akin to an emotion I couldn't comprehend. He seemed irritated. His hands dropped to my side, and he released a breath that fanned my face and left my nipples hard, straining against the material of the body cover.

"Stop biting your lip," He growled.

"I'm sorry," I muttered in a small voice that had me cringing in embarrassment. It didn't seem like it belonged to me.

"You look even more stunning in the morning. If it weren't for the fact that I was late for work, I wouldn't hesitate to take you on this bed, again. Also, I take it that you are still sore from last night." He smirked at me and stared at my lips before dropping a soft kiss on them. I clasped my legs together, suppressing the urge to moan and deepen the kiss. My eyes did a slow crawl over his shirt that clung to his firm and taut muscles, which suddenly made me jealous of the shirt.

"Get dressed. I got you new clothes. I will drop you off." He ordered me. I got up from the bed, wrapping the covers around my body and I headed into the bathroom to take my bath. True to his words, I found a red dress and a pair of undies in the bathroom. My cheeks reddened in embarrassment, wondering how he knew my size so quickly. I got out of the bathroom and met him seated on the couch. His head shot up from the phone in his hands when he heard the door creak and his cold eyes took me in demurely. I felt conscious under his gaze and I looked away.

I picked up my heels that were on the floor, strapped them on, and grabbed my purse. Thank goodness I didn't take any work files home yesterday. I could show up at work looking like this.

"Come on," He nudged his head in the direction of the door, and I stepped out with him trailing behind me.

Perv. I knew he was checking out my ass

Something is wrong.

Something is wrong and I couldn't shake it off. The route we were taking was the same route that led to my workplace. And last I checked, I didn't tell him where I was going. I couldn't keep track of the number of times I had shifted uncomfortably in my seat, while he kept glancing at me through the corner of his eyes and that even kept me more on edge than I was.

My breath seized when we drove into Blackwell, and his car came to a stop. The doors clicked, signaling it was unlocked already.

"Come on, I don't want to keep you waiting. I just want to quickly address something here before I go drop you off." He uttered softly, his amber eyes fixated on me. I let out a shaky breath, my lips quivering softly. I couldn't find my words, so I nodded. He got out of the car, while I sat in the passenger's corner, frozen. I didn't realize he had opened the door for me, waiting for me to step out. He held out his hand, and I took it, stepping out.

He didn't let me go, he held my hand as we strutted into the building. The guard standing by the doorpost opened the door for him, bowing his head. The moment we stepped into the firm, it was as though royalty just stepped into the room. They couldn't even look him in the eye. Everyone had their heads bowed, and my heart kept thudding loudly against my chest. With every step we took, he held on to me even tighter. With every step we took, it felt like my heart would burst out through my chest.

We stepped into the elevator, and on cue, he pulled me to his side by the waist, burying his head in the crook of my neck area sniffing me in, for a very long time. It was as though he wanted to pull me into himself. The Elevator doors opened, and one of the workers came into view, his mouth hanging in the air. I heard a low animalistic growl exit his lips, more like he wanted to scare him off. He retracted his gaze from us, quickly, bowing his head in respect.

We pranced out of the elevator and were currently on the last floor, where the workers scrambled to their seats, bowing their heads. I barely had the chance to come back from that, when I heard Evan's voice.

"Mr. Blackwell," He spoke.

I think I died right on the spot.

Mr. Blackwell…

Mr. Blackwell…

Mr. Blackwell….

"Welcome back, Boss." Evan bowed his head and I let out a harsh breath, stepping out of his arms, and staggering backwards with blurry eyes. My chest constricted in pain, and all I wanted to do was rip it out of my chest and stomp it until I couldn't feel this terrible heartache anymore.

My clutch met the floor with a loud clanging sound that gained the attention of everyone, and my jaw dropped to the floor. I wheezed, holding onto the table behind me for support.

I think…I think I just slept with my boss.
