Chp 3 Pt. 4 The Stranger

I was beyond elated when Katerina called me asking to help this weekend. Imagine my annoyance when she showed up with her friends. I did not expect nor want these pups hanging around while I got closer to Katerina. I will give Tristan credit on one thing, his stupid potion works wonders at masking my scent. They had no clue I am a wolf and it would seem Katerina’s parents have told her nothing about me.
My wolf, Ice, is not happy with me. We lost our pack and our position as alpha aligning ourselves with that warlock Ryan. Now I have teamed up with his brother, Tristan, and Ice is not happy about it. I try to remind him that the end goal is to take out Nicolai and become the new Alpha of Winter’s Moon pack. Our luna with be Katerina and our heir will be more powerful than any other Alpha.

I asked my father about wolves being able to mask their scent and he told me nothing, saying it was nothing I needed to worry about. Gunner “She knows we’ve been watching her sir.” “That’s not possible Hunter. Werewolves don’t connect to their wolf until they turn eighteen.” “I’ve been spying on several packs nearby. I learned Katerina has been connected to her wolf since she was like twelve. I think she can at least catch your scent, whatever that is to her.” I let out a small smile, happy to believe she knows her mate is nearby. Loving that my presence possibly calms her as hers calms me. Apollo is getting difficult to control and is demanding I meet her face to face. I worry though what this could do if we end up connecting the mate bond before she is of age. I know her father would not be happy with it, no Alpha would be. “Don’t worry.
