I found my way to the kitchen easily since it was the first familiar thing about the pack house to me. The whole pack was alive and questioning what the pack meeting was supposed to be about. I was running for what felt like a long time… and I know this wasn't the first time… and it won't be the last I went on this journey. I remembered falling asleep. The doctor had put me under to make sure I could sleep better. I had been up for hours while they worked to reset my bones so they could heal properly. Now, all I needed was time. My head hurt as I opened my eyes slowly. I felt stiff. My throat was dry. But, I could smell I was home. It was such a funny thing to remember. I still had a blury vision as I opened my eyes to my bedroom. They must've moved me here once I started recovering. I woke up alone. My leg was heavy and stiff- making me realize it was still in a cast. I glanced over at my nightstand to see my phone on charge.
