CELESTIA’S POINT OF VIEW

Not this man again!

This is my only chance to go home and why does it have to be him?

“it's nice to see you again, petty little Miss,” he said and I could not help but roll my eyes out of disgust and looked away, he walked closer and lifted my face to look at his!

Who does that? I aggressively hit his hands off my face and faced him with red eyes which can easily light a fire! 

“you ran away earlier today, you did not remember to get the response to what you said! Well, my father is an ass, I didn’t grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth, I built all I have from scratch and you won’t know the feeling of that because you have a father!” he said and I was immediately guilt trapped, knowing he is not as I imagined made me feel bad for all I have said to him!

“OH, can you see? You fell for it! I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, was it my fault that you weren’t? Look here, this might be my father’s name or my grandfather’s name! I don’t care, as long as I am okay and I can’t do what I want when I want to, I am fine, so run along mommy’s girl!” he said and I could not help but frown at him as a well of hatred was dung inside me by his words.

“It is funny to think that I was trying to believe that you are not an idiot. You, little thing without your family! Do you think you are living in the real world? Sorry mate, run along, this life of yours is nothing but fantasy and vain. 

People like you who don’t know how to raise things will never know how to maintain them, so sooner or later, you will remember this day when you were advised on how to make your life better! So run along Daddy little toy because I don’t see you as a son!” I replied without a fear of who he might be!

He is so annoying and even my word didn’t mean anything to him as he just laughed and looked at me again!

“I can see you still have a lot of nerves, and guess what! My name is Edward, I won’t give you that last name now but I will make you shiver the day you hear it and we will see who laughs last at the end of the day!” he said and I snorted and looked at him dead in the eyes!

“By then, you will still be nothing but just Edward! I won’t even get moved by that name anymore!” I replied confidently and he smiled out of surprise as I didn’t back down! “let’s wait and see, but first, I hope you get home safe on foot!” he said and walked away!

Jeez! I forgot what I was doing outside before seeing him!

Oh, my good lord, I have to look for a way to go home!

I hoped for another way out just where I was and after a while, I decided to walk a distance and maybe I might see a cab or another sane person!

With my little thought, I walked down the empty cold street! My feet were frozen and so were my hands but I just didn’t want to back down on the most stupid mission I have ever embarked on!

After a long distance, I saw a taxi and my heart melted in happiness, I rushed as fast as my frozen feet could take me only to see the taxi had just packed there. I was again disappointed, I kicked the car hard, and not only did my foot hurt, but my brain felt the hit as well!

“What is a lonely wolf doing here?” a voice asked and I immediately turned around in fear, it was not just a man, three men! My heart lost its rhyme as I tried to think of a way to get out of this mess!

“Sorry, is the taxi yours, I am just stranded and I thought it was working, I will leave now!” I said and turned to my left to run off but the one in front held me back! “Not so fast! We have not even gotten to know you” he said and I could feel my heart ripping apart!

What have I done to myself? “Please!” I mouthed and he laughed and even the laughs were ugly to the ears! I see my predicament as the end of the world!

 “Just stop already, she doesn’t want to know you! Don’t you wolves have your cage or are your owners dead?” another voice said from a distance and I felt my life was now to be titled, a dangerous light in the snow!

Having two gangster fights is a no for me!

The leader who had held me earlier tightened his grip on me and sent his two men out to deal with those who were in the fog of the snow! I saw them leave but hearing them fight didn’t happen, all we heard was the cry of the two men and their fly back toward us, one of them hit their boss and this caused him to let go of me!

“In fear, I could only freeze by the taxi and the mystery hero trashed the three men before coming towards me.

My state was in between fear and gratitude! He looked at me and slowly I could see him as the fog disappeared!

“Are you okay?” he asked, I had nothing to say. I was still trying to figure out who he was and a lot more. He walked closer and stretched his hands to me!

“You have to be careful out here, these stray wolves kill faster than a bullet and can I take you home?” he said rubbing salt in my wound as he hastened to help me with my boot bag and left his hands out for me to home on.

I wanted to speak as I touched his hand but words got stuck in me! 

What?

My wolf was the one screaming in me!

Mate! He is my mate! We found our mate!
