Two chapters to go. Thank you for all those gems 💎
Boxing DayChristmas was everything and more. We didn’t buy Lex and Leona much because..well they are babies and didn’t actually know it was Christmas. The day was more for us and I thoroughly enjoyed making those memories as a family. Blake’s and Trey’s ceremony was beautiful and I can see why people waited for a special marking. But Lance had waited for so long to mark me that I didn’t regret our love story for one moment. Our wedding would be our celebration in front of our family and friends and the ceremony got me excited to start planning when I returned from training with Giovanni. I would definitely ask Blake to help with the planning. Their ceremony was under the winter night’s sky with the stars acting as twinkling fairy lights against the strong moon’s glow. She had been growing her hair out for the occasion and instead of the pixie cut when I first met her, she had managed to grow it out into a long bob, which she styled wavy with winter berries styled in a number of r
A pledge. Lance POVAida had been extremely quiet on the drive back home. After packing we said our goodbyes and wished Trey good luck for his training with Giovanni. “Are you okay?” I place my hand on her thigh, as I check the rear view mirror. Both babies were sound asleep in their car seats and I was leading the security convoy back home. Brennan insisted on returning sooner than planned with us, he wanted to give Aida a full check up. He quietly said to me that judging by the twin’s early arrival we need to consider March onwards for her delivery. “I’m just a little shocked that’s all.” “You’re putting your block up, I can’t feel you. Aren’t you excited?”“Yes of course, of course I am. I just…I just wanted to do the training…to help keep them safe.” She looks out of her side window, not letting me look at the emotions on her face. “Angel, you don’t need to train to keep them safe. I have an army of warriors to keep them safe, I will keep you all safe.” …..“Aida would you

The Rise of the Alpha Luna. The Royal Santos Pack Series.Book Two. ***Spoiler for book one, do not read without reading book one - Fated to the Lycan Prince by Ebony Woods***Chapter One Turning Rogue. I had been doing so well in rebuilding my life, trying to create some sort of new happiness. I mean I didn’t ever truly believe I would be a happy person, but hoped for some happy times. I had new friends, people that actually wanted to be around me and not because I was part of their pack, they actually felt I was worthy enough of getting to know. I was doing well at training, rising through the ranks to be almost as strong as a well trained she-lycan, which for a she-wolf was impressive. My nightmares had been less frequent, they’ll never fully leave me as they have imprinted their lasting damage as if a physical scar on my skin, but I was managing well with keeping them at bay. I had Axel who I had adopted as my brother, the type of brother I should have been gifted from birth
A wolf without a pack. I was in a mind fog on the drive from the Mulder pack to the Sagar pack because the journey seemed like nothing at all. But the journey back to the Royal Santos pack was taking longer than expected. My thoughts were going into overdrive. The severity of my actions finally catching up with me. My wolf, having been on strike when Saskia lunged for me, is now back and anxious. She has no pack. She has no family. This wasn’t good for a wolf. I wasn’t expecting this. The skin side had been angry for so long, the anger actually kept a low burning flame ignited in the pit of my stomach. But the fur side was struggling. I was feeling light headed and nauseous from her constant state of anxiety. “Can we stop?” I ask with my eyes closed. “We haven’t got long to go…” Mav replies from the driver’s seat. “I’m not feeling too good.” I was hot and clammy, bile trying to rise up in my throat. I’m already trying to open the back seat door which at a high speed on a motorway
A late night and an early morning. After a quick facilities break at the service station we are back on the motorway in no time. Mav kept looking at me through the rear view mirror every now and again, just checking my hands aren’t reaching for the door. He denied it when I told him my wolf wasn’t as on edge having been fed, but he drove in the slow lane nonetheless. Ricardo and Blake were quiet, they were clearly mind-linking one another. I already couldn’t mind-link the lycans, now I can’t even mind-link another werewolf. I closed my eyes, tiredness taking over me and I give in, hoping at least by the time I wake up we should be pulling up to the Royal Santos Lycan pack. “Aida?” I hear Queen Lorrel call my name. Where was I? “Hhmm?” I respond still half asleep. “Sshh Mother don’t wake her!” Ricardo hushes. “What happened?” “If I tell you, you have to promise not to mind-link Lance?” Is he carrying me? I’m being walked up some stairs but I’m too exhausted to battle the call to
Cooking breakfast. Lycans are hungry creatures. I had now moved on to sausages and eggs. As soon as I placed food on the table they gobbled it all up within seconds. “Are you not fed at home?” I tut, sitting down to finally enjoy a morning cup of tea. “Yes but not so well fed by such loving hands.” Jake smirks grabbing my hand from my slightly warm cup of tea and placing it in his hand. He flutters his eyelashes at me before placing the back of my hand to his mouth. “Knock it off!” Brennan growls at his playful younger brother. “Aida knows I’m just playing…don’t you Aida?” He licks the back of my hand with his warm wet tongue causing me to pull my hand out of his grasp and wipe it on my top near my breasts. “Eww gross! Keep your tongue to yourself!” I chuckle as I grab some breakfast for myself. “Morning boys, I hope you are behaving?” Lorrel walks in wearing a silk black dressing gown. The woman was stylish even on little sleep. “Yes Aunt Lorrel!” Brennan, Emmett and Jake sing
A visit gone wrong. I go to open Nadine’s front door, when Brennan manoeuvres himself in front of me and gets to the door first. How the hell did he do that? Damn these lycans are fast. A slight growl leaves my chest at him cutting in front of me, which he chooses to ignore for now. As the door opens we are greeted by Mav who seems to be on guard today. Odd I didn’t think she was a threat anymore. I go to greet Mav but am cut off by the mind-linking conversation he and Brennan enter with one another. Nadine isn’t in the main apartment area but I follow her scent to her bedroom. I push on the bedroom door and find her in bed feeding baby Bonnie. She looks up at me with sore looking eyes that must have cried non stop since she was forcefully marked as punishment. A bang of guilt hits me but I have to remember her reactions almost killed Axel, not to mention the deaths of others. “May I come in?” I push my luck judging by the growl that leaves her. It is enough for both Brennan and Mav
