Elsa's POV
"You only want me stuck with you forever." I returned right away and pulled away from him immediately, finally happy that Thanks to the Alpha, I had given him an epic comeback.
But my joy didn't last long. But deep down inside of me, the words he just spoke to me were my greatest fear and they weren't far from the truth.
With every single step that I moved, with every air that I drew into my nostril, I felt I was only getting closer to my death in the hands of the Lycan.
I got to a separate carriage different from that of the Lycan king and When we got to the pack house, he turned to me without the slightest trace of joy on his face.
"The servants will take you around, get ready to be in my room by evening today." He shot at me and I searched his eyes for the slightest trace of emotion but there was nothing. At that point, I knew that I am trapped in hell for life. This was not the life I wanted, I need to be mated to someone who truly loves me with so much care and attention.
A servant came and showed me around and to crown it all worse, I was taken to my father's room covered with dust. Tears dripped down my eyes.
"The Lycan king requested that we bring you here. We are sorry for the mess, the place hasn't been open for years. The servants will get it tidy up soon." She said to me with a slight bow and walked out of the place without hesitation.
Staying there made me keep seeing flashes of the night that my father was killed. The way that he was cruelly murdered together with my mother. As tears kept falling down my cheeks, I got up to leave immediately to avoid adding more salt to my already existing injury.
Outside, the pack house was just as I remembered, just a little bit renovated and nothing else. Everything remained the same.
I could still remember the exact point my father was slain. I saw the place my Father was slain and it seemed as though he was still there.
"Your life is in grievous danger." A strange voice kept whispering into my ears.
I placed my hands on my stomach and I could feel my child. "I am not going to let anyone do any harm to you," I assured.
I turned around to leave immediately, already shivering with fear and cold shivers running steeply down my spine, then, I saw a pack guard advancing towards me.
"The Lycan seeks your presence." He informed me with a slight bow.
At the sound of the word, my heart almost burst out from my chest racing so hard that I was panting for breath.
"But he noted that I see him this evening," I said with a stutter.
"Then he must have changed his mind 'cause he requested that I bring you to him right this minute." The guard returned still bowing.
There was practically nothing I could do, I had to go with him.
He led me to the bedroom of the Lycan king and stopped at the door.
"This is his room." He noted and turned around to leave immediately. I wanted to call him back, cause I was never going to feel safe with the Lycan but I was able to restrain this urge.
I was already shivering so badly that I could not balance my foot properly on the floor.
I tapped lightly on the door but there was no response and I had to tap again. But this time, the response was harsh.
"Just get you freaking ass in here." The Lycan fired angrily from inside.
I walked into the well furnished but I was just too scared to take any note of the beauty.
The Lycan was bare with only his shot on and I wondered why but I had to admit that he was handsome and he had a perfect body.
"Let's get this over with." He whispered into my ears with a frown hanging on his face.
"Get what over with?" I returned confused and curious to know what he was talking about and why he had brought me into the palace in the first place.
But before I could open my mouth to say a word, he came over to me and running his hands through my hair, he pushed me to the bed and shot a deadly sneer at me.
"Is this my eventual end?" I thought already shivering hard with fear. "What do I do now?" I echoed in my head and my wolf spoke to me again after such a very long time.
"If he does what he is planning to do to you, you may loss your child." It announced to me but made even more heartbroken.
"So what do I do now?" I returned, staring at the cruel Lycan king advancing gradually towards me and ready to devour me.
"When he is way close to you, allow me to take over." My wolf instructed and I only nodded my head.
Finally, he was so close that I could feel the hot air airing from his throat.
"Take over now, take over." I yelled out, frightened that the Lycan was going to kill me after raping me.
Then suddenly, he smirked. He stopped walking and focused on me - his action got me perplexed and confused.
"Do you think I can't get you if I want to?" He sneered, tucking his hands into his pocket.
I became afraid, more serious when I remembered my past - my children. I wouldn't want this man to find them.
How did he even find me?
"You...." My lips trembled, I couldn't continue my statement.
"From the day I met you, I claimed you which means you would never escape from me." He said these words vividly, that I didn't know when I lost myself in his eyes.
He was so close to me, maybe this time I wouldn't be able to escape him. What does this man want from my messed up life? I wondered inwardly when I noticed it was too late to run away.
As I opened my eyes, I felt disoriented and confused. My head throbbed with a piercing headache, and an uncomfortable feeling crept up my spine. I tried to move, but my limbs felt heavy and unresponsive. For a moment, I thought I was still in the clutches of the Lycan king, but as my vision cleared, I realized I was in a completely different room. The room was large and well-furnished, with a soft bed that I was lying on. The walls were adorned with beautiful paintings, and the windows let in a warm, golden light that filled the space. As I tried to sit up, a wave of dizziness overtook me, and I had to lie back down. I felt weak and vulnerable like a small child lost in a vast, unfamiliar world. It took me a few moments to gather my bearings, and as my mind cleared, memories of what had happened flooded back to me. I remembered the Lycan king, his dark, brooding presence, and his intense gaze that seemed to pierce through my soul. I remembered the way he had spoken to me, his voice la
I crept down the stairs, my heart pounding in my chest. Every creak of the wooden steps made me jump, my nerves on edge as I tried to stay quiet. I didn't want to be caught, didn't want to face the wrath of the Lycan king or his minions. As I made my way down, I couldn't help but notice how eerily quiet the house was. It was as if everyone had disappeared as if I was the only one left in the entire world. The silence was suffocating, and oppressive, and it made me feel even more alone than I already was.The only thing that I could hear was the distant voices of the maids as they chatted away, probably disEvery shadow seemed to jump out at me, every creak of the floorboards sending shivers down my spine. I felt like a mouse in a trap, a pawn in some cruel game that I didn't fully understand. As I reached the bottom of the stairs, I paused, listening for any signs of movement. But there was nothing, no sound at all except for my breathing. It was as if the whole world had gone still,
ALPHA'S POV.I walked through the corridors, my thoughts still reeling from what had happened last night. I couldn't believe what had transpired between Elsa and me. The way she had resisted me had caught me off guard, and I was left feeling disappointed and confused. As I made my way to the garden, I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in the pit of my stomach. I had always heard that Elsa had no wolf, and yet she had exhibited a level of power that I had not expected. The way she had fought back had been both surprising and intriguing. When I reached the garden, I sat down on one of the benches and closed my eyes, trying to calm my racing thoughts. I could still feel the pull of her wolf, the way it had resisted me as if it knew that I was not the right mate for Elsa. It was a strange feeling, one that I had never experienced before. I opened my eyes and looked up at the moon, wondering if it held the answer to my questions. I had always believed that the mo
ALPHA'S POV."Is there anything with her? You women find it hard to keep your lips sealed. And what are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here, are you?"The anger was quick to surface when my wife approached me with her questions. She had no right to come and ask me such things, she should have known better."Sorry, darling." She apologized profusely, moving closer, she tried to touch me in what she thought was a seductive manner.I stood there, my gaze cold and hard as she stood before me with a smirk on her lips. Her hands ran lightly over my body, tracing the contours of my chest and abdomen in a slow, gentle dance. I felt my body tense beneath her touch, but she refused to break eye contact, determined to make her seduction complete. The light touch of her fingers made me quiver and I could feel the heat emanating from her skin as she pressed her body against mine. She moved closer still, her breath hot on my neck as she inhaled my scent. Her hands moved slowly up my side
ALPHA'S ARTHUR'S POV.I retired to my room for the night, feeling the chill in the air as I stepped away from the warmth of the fire. The crackling sound of the logs burning slowly in the fireplace filled the room, and I could feel the shadows creeping in around me. I stood there for a moment, taking in the silence, and wondering if I should go see Elsa.I couldn't get her out of my mind, no matter how hard I tried. She was unlike any other woman I had encountered, and I found myself drawn to her. I wanted to know everything about her, to understand her better. But then, I remembered her roar, the one that had scared me when we were about to mate.I couldn't forget that moment, no matter how much I tried. It was the only thing that had ever scared me, even as a toddler. I shook my head, trying to push away the memory, but it lingered. I wondered what it was about her that made her do that, and if it was a warning of some sort.I took a seat by the fireplace, warming myself by the fire
ELSA'S POV. I found myself in a dark and deserted place, the air was thick with the stench of fear and desperation. Suddenly, I saw her, a stranger, calling out to me, pleading for help. Her eyes were filled with terror as she ran towards me, her voice hoarse with desperation."Please, help me," she cried out, tears streaming down her face. "He's coming for me. I don't want to die."I felt the weight of her fear crushing me, and I tried to run, but my feet were rooted to the spot. The stranger reached out to me, her fingers barely brushing mine before she disappeared into the darkness.Suddenly, I saw my father, battered and bruised, begging for mercy. He was in the clutches of a monster, a monster that I know I should be able to defeat. But I was frozen, unable to move, unable to do anything as my father screamed in agony.I felt a cold sweat break out on my skin as I watched the scene unfold before me. The monster loomed over my father, ready to deliver the final blow. I tried to s
ALPHA'S POV.The night was dark and still, the only sound coming from the crickets outside my window. But even the soothing sound of nature wasn't enough to calm my restless mind. I couldn't shake the feeling that I needed to see Elsa. Ever since she arrived in our territory, I couldn't get her out of my mind. It was like she had cast a spell on me, a spell that I couldn't break free from. It wasn't just her beauty or her strength that captivated me, but it was something more. Something that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I tossed and turned in my bed, trying to find a comfortable position, but nothing seemed to work. I knew I had to see her, to talk to her, but I didn't know how. I couldn't just barge into her room in the middle of the night, it wasn't proper. And yet, I couldn't ignore this feeling inside me. I got out of bed and walked to the window, staring out at the dark forest. The moon was full, casting an eerie glow over the trees. I wondered if Elsa was awake too and
I could feel my heart racing in my chest, pounding so hard that it felt like it was about to burst. My whole body was trembling, and my mind was racing with thoughts of what could be happening to me. I was struggling with all my might against the iron grip that held me firmly in place, but it was no use. The person was too strong, and I couldn't move an inch.I whimpered in terror as I felt his grip tighten even further, his fingers digging into my skin. I could feel my breaths becoming more and more labored, my chest heaving as I gasped for air. All I could think about was how helpless and vulnerable I was in this situation, and I couldn't even see who was holding me.The darkness that surrounded us seemed to close in, suffocating me and making it even harder to breathe. My mind raced with a million different scenarios, each one more terrifying than the last. Was this it? Was I going to die here, alone and scared, with no one to save me?I tried to speak, to beg for mercy or at least
