Beast Gene?

Unexpectedly, a few moments later, a knock rang outside her door.

Xavier enter the room and pushed a cart containing different dishes. Its smell made Rara gulp and salivate uncontrollably.

She unconsciously wiped the corner of her mouth before turning her look towards Xavier who stopped beside her bed.

"You made this?" she asked with doubt in her eyes.

Xavier was about to answer when she asked once more, "It can't be that you forced Gilaho to make this right?"

His face immediately turned solemn upon hearing her mention Gilaho.

"Are you doubting my skills and intelligence? Don't you know best how good my skills are?" he raised his eyebrows threateningly.

Seeing that his gaze was wandering around, Rara immediately shut her mouth and sat up before moving the cart closer.

For precaution, she took a spoon and dipped it in the soup before tasting it. A delicious taste flowed down her stomach and before she knew it, she began gulping the food in front of her into her stomach.
