Tony could see Candy entering Amora's room and meeting her. Because of his wolf’s help, he could see and know all that quite well.

While the pack members were busy talking about Amora the human, Tony was now busy minding his own business.

Then he left to go somewhere, leaving the rest of the pack sweating from the training.

They weren't the only people sweating that morning, even Liam was the same. He also monitored the process of training new pack members as well as directly providing basic training.

Her sweaty body was so sexy especially when he took off his casual clothes revealing his toned abs and biceps. The sight captured much of Candy's attention and captivated her when she first arrived at his house.

At that time, she increasingly wanted him. Then when she remembered that there was a lowly human who took her position, it made her very angry.

"Who are you?" Amora asked Candy, flinching a bit because she was too scared. She didn't remember Candy because Candy didn't spend too much time when Amora was kidnapped and brought to the club to be auctioned off. But with one glance she could see that Candy was related by blood to Mr. Lee because they had the same facial features. "Are you looking for someone?"

Candy's chin was lifted high, proud and domineering. Her pointy heels like barking together with her wolf. The tip of her nose sniffed Amora's disgusting scent. "Yeah, I'm looking for someone. And I have found her.”

Amora took a few steps back when she felt Candy's gaze as if she was skinning her. "Are you looking for me?"

"What do you think?" Because Amora didn't answer, Candy walked while folding her arms. Her red hills clattered again as her slender body now moved to sit on the edge of Amora's bed. "You live well here." She patted the soft and fluffy surface of the bed. "And you seem to like it." Grinned.

Amora thought should she treat Candy like a princess or like a friend? Whatever it was, she knew that she shouldn't cross the line. "Yeah, this house is very nice and the house owner is also very nice."

"House owner? Do you not even know the name of the owner of this house?” Candy sighed when she saw Amora looking down. She stood up to approach her. "Interesting. I thought you were a cheap woman who would do anything to survive, but it seems you are just a coward. But I like it! At least you won't be a threat at all.”

She handed her phone to Amora. “Give me your number!”

“I… don't have a number.”

"That's why I brought this." Candy took out a new cell phone and gave it to Amora. “Save it! This is a gift. I'll call you if I need anything."

This was sudden kindness. Even though it was good but Amora felt something was wrong. “Sorry, but why are you so nice?”

"You ask me?" Candy touched her chest. "Of course, because I have to. You are our auctioneer successfully purchased by someone we greatly respect. We have to make sure you are not disabled.” She looked at her with disdain. “And I need to tell you one thing, Mr. Liam will never like you. He never even liked any of the women around him. The only reason why he bought you is that you are so pathetic. You know?"

Amora wasn't sure if Candy had bad intentions. But she hurt when she heard Liam never liked her. But why? Why should she be hurt?

"Maybe you should get to know me first." Candy lifted the collar of her tight red dress, showing her puffed-out chest. “I am Candy Lee, the only daughter of Mr. Lee, a drug dealer and boss of the most notorious illegal business in this area. You are a slave that we bought at a low price because no one would buy you. The only reason why we're auctioning you off is that you're a human, a useless creature that we can turn into a slave. So, don't cross your limits!”

Candy almost left until she turned around to say one more thing, “And you have to remember that what you see is not necessarily the truth. Mr. Liam may be very nice to you, but maybe he has goals that you never know. It's happened to me. We slept together once and he always spoiled me. But his goal is nothing more than his business going well with my father.” And then she left.

For now, she wouldn't do anything because Amora was worse than she thought. But if one day Amora crossed the line, then Candy would tear her body and let her be eaten by the wolves. “Disgusting creature!”

As she was walking, she bumped into Tony, but she ignored him. Then when she walked again to approach her father, Liam was already standing in the distance, watching her.

The cynical face and stiff lips that she always showed now suddenly faded, replaced with a warm smile. After seeing him from a distance, she tidied up her appearance and opened a little part of her dress. That should be enough to seduce him.

“Mr. Liam!” She was running around, deliberately jumping up and down to make her chest look tempting. “Why are you here? Did my father make you angry?”

"Where are you from?" Liam asked viciously. Not far from him, stood Mr. Lee who was busy smoking and talking to someone on the phone.

Candy smiled again. "I wandered around for a while. I haven't visited here in a long time. You don't seem to have changed much."

"You met her right?" he accused to the point.

Her smile disappeared and was replaced with a stiff and arrogant face. "Yes sir. I'm not going to lie because it's not illegal. She is an item that we have auctioned off. After it reaches the buyer, we reserve the right to check to see if it is still suitable for you to buy. This is the best customer service that no one has. And I saw that she was too weak and too useless for you. Therefore, I intend to replace her with another slave.

“You can replace her if I agree. But I never said so. Isn't it weird? Should you be happy if someone wants to buy a defective item at a high price? What are you hiding?"

Candy gritted her teeth. Her hand went into her dress pocket, holding something: a pendant! It belonged to Amora whom Candy found when she was bought by Liam. It fell.

After she checked it, she knew that Amora was not an ordinary human. Because she was sure she had seen the symbol on it. Therefore, she would separate Amora and Liam before one of them found out anything. Moreover, she knew that Amora had lost her memory.

Candy laughed, a pained laugh. But after that, she hid it nicely. "All right, sir, I'll confess something. Other people want to buy her at a higher price.”

He was surprised. He knew that she was a human who could become prey for werewolves, or become a slave and be treated cruelly. But hearing someone was trying to challenge him by snatching his belonging was arrogance. Especially after he bought her in cash, especially after he showed how angry he was at the auction.

Was this the opposition packs’ work? But who? No other pack was feuding with Liam's pack at the moment.

Candy was relieved because Liam trusted her words, it was seen from his expression. That way she could hide from him for now. "I'm not going to lie, sir, that the other buyer's offers are very tempting. But because we respect you so much, we will decline their offer. I would say that she is a crippled human that you will soon prey on.” She turned her head and saw her father had finished talking on the phone. Grabbing his arm, she led them out of Liam's house and back to the headquarter.

Along the way, Mr. Lee asked what she had said to Liam until he looked panicked. And Candy said that it was nothing. "The most important thing I know is that there is no serious threat for now."

“Does that mean we should hold off on killing her?”

The car swayed as it passed through the cobbled streets. Candy squinted as she looked out the window. "I know your wolf is very hungry. But she can't be our prey now, Father! I have something to take care of. We can do it later."

Liam tried to shake off thoughts of Candy and her words. He preferred to return to the practice area and see the progress of the new pack members. Shortly after he arrived, Tony came over to him. “Apollo!” he said to call Tony by his real name. "Is everything all right?"

Apollo stood by Liam's side, looking at the pack members who were returning to battle training. "Yes sir. Is there any problem? I saw Mr. Lee coming with Candy.”

"They just wanted to check on Amora's condition."

"Amora?" Apollo gasped in surprise. Since last night he hadn't had the chance to chat with Liam intensely. They just exchanged greetings and then had small talks about the day's training. Therefore, he hadn't even asked about Amora's name or anything related to her. “Are you sure that it is her, sir? Didn't you say she was a werewolf? That's why she was able to save you one year ago from the attacks of the other werewolves."

“My wolf said that she is Amora. I'm not sure because now she is human. Her scent is slightly different. But…"

"It must be very difficult for you to explain."

Liam nodded amidst the whistling of swords from the pack members who were practicing. “You know, sometimes you smell something different. But deep down inside, you're sure that it's something you've been looking for all this time.”

"Perhaps there is one secret that you haven't revealed yet, sir. Did she leave a mark or have something that only she has?”

Liam thought hard. “In appearance, she is very similar to Amora. But…"

"She's not wearing the pendant she used to wear."

"A pendant?"

Liam nodded. “It was left by her biological parents, at least that's what she told me. But, she isn't wearing that right now.”

“Seeing that it was left behind by her parents, there's no way she left it on purpose.”

“Could it be that her kidnappers took it and threw it away? So, she won't be able to find out her identity after being sold?”

“Oh, damn it! It is quite possible, sir.”

“Then what about the people you just investigated? I had you to look for them, right?”

"I've investigated them, sir. She was bought by dealers on the black market. And those dealers got her from Black Dragon.”

“Black Dragon?” Liam stared. “They are the darkest and most heinous group of human trafficking. How could they possibly find her? They will only search for humans from the darkest and bleakest places in the world. While she had a warm family in the past!”

"When you asked me to look for her, I couldn't find her. Maybe something bad happened to her at that time.”

"Is it true?" He shook his head. Even though his wolf was very sure that she was Amora, something bothered him if he didn't fully prove it. He must be sure that she was Amora.

After he finished supervising the day's training once he gave the order to Apollo to investigate the Black Dragon, he returned home to eat lunch. Before that, he took a shower so that his sweaty body would be fresh.

The knob pushed as he entered his room, pulled on his clothes, and then entered the bathroom. But suddenly he was surprised to see someone taking a bath in his room. That person was Amora!

"You!" he was shocked speechless. Even though he was holding his eyes from moving, her beauty was now too hard to resist. Her skin looked soft and fresh when splashed with water, then the curves of her body were so perfect in all parts. Her innocent and beautiful face was flushed with embarrassment.

She tried to reach for the towel that was hanging not far from where she was standing. But when she was walking fast, she slipped and fell into his arms.

Softly she heard him growling, holding something back.
