Chapter 6. Unexpected Gift

"What!?" Emmy spoke with a hushed expression of disbelief before taking the pregnancy test. Her eyes widened as she took in the news from the page. Meanwhile, Eva was sitting miserably on the side of the bed. Eva cried uncontrollably, her tears dripping onto her luscious eyelashes. She buried her face in her hands and sobbed.

“Oh my God.” Emmy still murmured in shock and disbelief at Eva’s situation. She came closely to hold her. While stroking Eva’s hair, Eva sobbed uncontrollably and grabbed her by the waist.

“Calm down, okay. We can handle this. It’s okay.” Emmy is at a loss for words, except to try to soothe Eva. How about Eva, even though it was really tough for her? A man raped Eva, and she became pregnant as a result. She had every reason to be devastated.

After ten minutes, Eva's wailing had subsided somewhat. Despite her continued sobbing, Emmy finally succeeded in getting her to look into the eyes.
