The jet is running and ready. Brian and McKenzie do not look like they want to leave, and neither do I. Devin already said we could stay longer but I can’t lose my job and I don’t care what Devin says, I am not allowing his ‘power’ to grant me keys to places I don’t need to be.

I have a job and just because he is my boyfriend should not let that job allow me to just work when I want to. It’s not fair to other people who don’t have that option, and my grandfather always taught me to be fair in life.

“We can stay just a few more days!” McKenzie argues as we step closer to the jet.

“Not all of us have paid time off like you do, McKenzie!” I argue. “And not all of us own our businesses like Brian and Devin do. I have a job that I just started and I need to show responsibility. We’ve already lied about having this trip planned, so yes, we have to return home.”
