KARINA POV

I squeal with happiness just after I press end call. Joy for my friend and her mate explode in my heart. Logan said the delivery of their male had gone smoothly and Chloe didn't have to labor for too long before he was here.

"Atticus," I call as I jog down the hallway toward his office.

When I reach the door I throw it open with unnecessary force. The doorknob knocks into the wall leaving a small dent, but I ignore it.

"Chloe had the baby. 8lbs and 2oz. They haven't picked a name. He is here," I say excitedly as my mate looks up at me in surprise.

His shocked face quickly shifts into a smile and he pushes away from his desk a little. He holds his arms up toward me and I smile.

"That's good. Is she the one who called," he asks as I move around his desk to sit in his lap.

"No. It was Logan. He said they are expecting us to come visit them before we go tour the progress up North," I answer while running my fingers through his short facial hair.
