The dark vampire’s power expanded around him, like a protective shield. I leaped towards him and plunged the Dagger into the field of power around him. I hadn’t really expected it to do anything, but I was wrong.

The shield, like glass, shattered around him and his eyes widened as I thrust the dagger into his chest. My eyes widened along with him as blood gushed out of his wounds.

He moved back.

“Oh,” I whispered softly as my fingers trembled as I pulled the Dagger out of his wound. I cringed when I saw the same black vines spreading from his wound.

I stared at my hand drenched in blood. I hadn’t really thought of killing him, but I knew I did what I had to do.

One of the Vampire grabbed him, their anger overwhelming. A tall man with pointy fangs, pointed a finger at me. “Our realm will never belong to you. We will make sure of that.”
