(ELYN) I saw thick black veins forming on his pale white skin.His body shuddered as his face morphed in pain, and a soft hiss left his lips as he glared at me, his eyes piercing red. (ELYN) The dark vampire’s power expanded around him, like a protective shield. I leaped towards him and plunged the Dagger into the field of power around him.
