Fiona wiped her tears with her arm, sniffing. Her hand was hurting so badly and the pain was clamoring all through her arm.

She glanced up at how her fingers were twisted and had turned blue. She didn't know for how long she was standing there on her toes. If she dropped her weight to the balls of her feet, her wrists got stretched and it feels like they'll be ripped away from her arms.

Her legs were trembling for such a long time as she tried to stay strong and not lose consciousness.

It was after what felt like hours, the door creaked open and she groggily opened her eyes to find Adrian staring at her with a tense expression. His eyes fell on her hand before he breathed in deeply.

"Guard," He barked as a guard dashed inside. "Untie that," He muttered pointing somewhere as he walked to Fiona. Just as the guard unbind the rope her body slacked and she fell forward but Adrian held her delicate frame.
