Getting to extrance of the airport, the eerie feeling of déjà vu got Ann and it hit her had like a brick. Standing still in front of the airport, she remembered how she passed through those same extrance of the airport feeling so lost, dejected and a no body to relay on. She went through all that but returned proud, fulfilled, happy, wealthy, a mother entitled and that meant everything to her. She could see the reflection of her former self in the windows as if a vision passing by in a flash, she could still remember distinctly, the betrayal she felt, her anger, her pain and her tears but that also made her swear revenge on that man and that woman. Ann couldn’t sleep a wink that night, she was wide awake in bed with a lot on her mind. She was wide awake, sometimes looking around the empty apartment, other times tossing and turning in bed but most times scenarios of what she thought might happen to her in the future. She was anxious and restless.She checked the time a dozen times throughout and currently it’s a few minutes past 3am. She sighed regretfully,’ maybe I should just run away to Mexico and change my name to Aurora or Amor. I might even end up selling tacos for a living, marry an old farmer and bore him so many kids that we will form a foot ball team and earn lots of money through them’. Judith rolled her eyes with a playful smile on her face before it quickly turned into a look of concern.“Ooh Ann! I don’t want to get you angry or sad right now but the rumors and stories are bad. Every hierarchy had their own version of the stories, each gets worse from the previous ones I heard. I don’t think I should even be telling you this.” Judith stated as if in a deep thought and nodded her head quickly to herself, knowing she made the best decision for herself. Ann rolled her eyes at her and pouted. This very day just happened to be the one day she felt worry free, it was one of those days in Ann’s life. Having such day for once in forever, she decided to let go of her worries and enjoy a little in her boring and old life.“ I will worry about what tomorrow will bring tomorrow but for now, let me pretend to be a normal teenager for once. Just for today, I’m going to be a normal teenager”, she whispered to herself in self encouragement. She looked out the window and closed her eyes, the feeling of the cold wind against her skin was refreshing. The drove was a fun one, the two friends drove to the fair in Judith’s van whilst singing off key to music play in the car. The music playing was loud but they were equally singing the songs at the top of their voices. Their off key singing earned them a lot of weird and annoyed looks from the cars and people they passed during their journey.
