Pierce POV

When will he fucking learn not to push her, expecting too much of her. I wrap a blanket around her shoulders and pull her close to me, keeping her close under my wing.

She was shaking, she was petrified…her wolf had slipped through the barrier that she was fighting constantly to maintain.

I slowly walk her up the stairs and it takes all my effort to let her use her own feet, I wanted to scoop her up in my arms and walk for her.

I walk her to the ensuite and turn on her shower. I ensure the temperature is hot but not too hot, her body was shivering…I didn’t want her skin to burn against her cold skin.

I go to leave the bathroom and wait outside when she pleads with me to stay.
