CHAPTER 14

Lever's point of view 

I sighed because they needed to talk to our guardian about what happened a while ago. I just came from the guidance office and I was holding the letter for Mama.

Mama is not in Manila so how can she go to school. I'm here at the back of the school, there are only a few students here so it's good to stay in this place. Just quiet and no one is too visible.

I looked at the blue sky. Did I come to Manila to find out how chaotic this place is?

I heard the school bell ring, a sign that I needed to go back to our classroom. I grabbed my backpack and put it on me. I stood up, but when I turned around I immediately saw Youna standing not far from me.

I averted my eyes from Youna, I was about to walk back to my room.
