Chapter 6

The person before them was Harry.

The Scott family from Isonbert was a distinguished family with a century of history, and they were well-known and influential.

Harry, the heir of the Scott family, was wise and unrestrained. He was already a well-known genius in the business world at a young age. Everyone who knew him was expected to treat him with reverence and call him Master Harry.

In terms of his background, the entire Isonbert would be shaken if he said a word. In terms of appearance, he was perfect and captivating, like a god that had descended into this world.

No woman could resist such a noble, mysterious, and captivating man who was full of deadly charm!

Clara's heart was pounding as she was enthralled. She shyly fixed her gaze firmly on the tall, lean figure approaching from a distance.

Keegan was both surprised and delighted. He hurriedly greeted him and said, “Master Harry, what brings you here? Come and take a seat inside!”

Harry cast a quick glimpse at the whip that Keegan had yet to put down and said with a half-hearted smile, “Mr. Lang, is that how you’re welcoming me?”

Keegan was in a haste to reach Harry, and it was only then that he realized that the barbs on the ship had almost touched Harry's cuff.

It was believed that the Scott family would rip him to pieces if he were to hurt the arrogant and noble Master Harry or even scratch a little portion of his skin!

Keegan was so terrified that he instantly broke out in cold sweat. He quickly set the whip aside, groveled, and apologized. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, Master Harry. Please don’t take offense. I did not mean to do that!”

“It doesn’t matter.” Harry casually raised his hand, and when he signaled, Kai, who was following closely behind, presented a brocade box immediately.

“This is prepared by Lady Scott as a token of apology to you, Mr. Lang.”

Two days ago, when Lady Scott was traveling by car, the driver was distracted and accidentally rear-ended Keegan’s car, but Keegan refused to accept any repair fee. Lady Scott did not want to owe anyone a favor, so she had to send him a gift as a token of apology instead.

The fact that Harry had come to deliver the gift in person was already showing Keegan great respect!

Keegan was overwhelmed with excitement; he was overjoyed!

Anything from the Scott family would definitely be out of the ordinary for sure! In addition, by doing this, he would have succeeded in gaining the favor of the Scott family.

Keegan tried to contain his excitement and said, “Lady Scott is too kind. It’s just a small matter. Please tell her not to mind it.”

“No problem.”

After Harry’s flippant response, he changed the topic and asked, “Mr. Lang, were you so angry just now because Miss Sienna was wronged last night?”

He was speaking in a definite manner when he said the word, ‘wronged’.

Keegan was speechless for a brief period of time.

How did Sienna suddenly become the subject of conversation?

Clara's face abruptly changed expression, and she slightly clenched her hands in front of her when she heard this phrase.

Who in Isonbert could possibly be unaware of the icy disposition and lack of interest in women displayed by the Scott family's heir? Those young ladies from the wealthy family aspired to be married into the Scott family, but they could not even touch a corner of his sleeve!

However, he arrived at the Lang Mansion today in a patronizing manner and even took the effort to bring up Sienna!

'When did this b*tch hook up with Master Harry?'

Clara lowered her eyes in an effort to conceal her jealousy.

At this time, Jonas, who had never been accustomed to Clara being wronged, stood up and retorted, “Master Harry, you’re mistaken. It’s Sienna who pushed Clara down the stairs last night. This matter is known and has caused an uproar throughout Isonbert. This is not a wrongful accusation.”

Harry glanced at him and asked, “Who are you?”

“I’m her brother!”

“No wonder.” Harry smiled slightly, but there was a slight hint of irony at the corners of his curled-up lips. “How can anyone trust her when even her own brother does not believe her?”

Spot on!

Sienna could not help but glance at Harry's way.

Was this man fighting on her behalf?

Harry happened to gaze at Sienna the same moment as she did.

Their gazes met in midair.

When people looked into the man’s deep and jet-black eyes, they would have the impression that they had fallen into a sea of stars and were engulfed in an endless vortex. It was highly unpredictable and deadly.

Sienna felt oppressed for the first time after getting stared at like that.

She closed her eyes, and her long eyelashes drooped as she hid her emotions.

Jonas’ face turned red when he heard those words, but he could not refute it. He could only whisper, “I’m just going by reason and not by relations! Besides, Clara is also my sister…”

Harry had no desire to meddle in other people's domestic matters. He turned around languidly and prepared to leave.

When Keegan saw this, he hurriedly said, “Master Harry, I’ll see you off!”

“No need!”

The man’s voice was soothing but indifferent.

Keegan felt a little disappointed, but he dared not defy him. At this point, many guests in the living room unexpectedly heard Harry say, "Miss Sienna, aren't you going to see me off?"

Sienna, who had her name called out, stood rooted to the ground.

What was with this slightly vague tone? It was easy for people to overthink!

When Harry called her name, Sienna immediately felt a line of sight behind her that was incredibly piercing.

If looks could kill, it was estimated that the sharp look in Clara’s eyes could pierce several holes in her.

Sienna curled up her lips and naturally walked toward Harry.

“Okay, I’ll see you off.”

When Jonas saw Sienna accompanying Harry out of the villa, he could not hold it in any longer and exclaimed, “Dad, isn’t Master Harry recovering from an illness? He just returned to Isonbert two days ago. When did Sienna get to know him?”

Keegan said angrily, “How would I know?!”

Clara wrung her hands and uttered in a low voice, “Dad, there are rumors that Master Harry is dying soon, and Lady Scott intends to select a granddaughter-in-law for Master Harry’s wedding. Is this true?”

This matter was not a secret, and it had long been spread in the higher circle in Isonbert.

Harry, the heir of the Scott family, who was once omnipotent, was the most promising candidate to take over the reins of the Scott family. Unfortunately, such a promising candidate suddenly fell ill a few years ago. Since then, he became a weak person who had to rely on medication for survival.

There were rumors that he had a short life and would not live long.

Keegan said in a deep voice, “Clara, you must remember that Lady Scott detests people who speak behind their backs the most, and she also takes offense when people claim that Master Harry is dying. We cannot afford to offend the Scott family regardless of the circumstances. So, don’t say things like this in future.”

“Understood.” Clara lowered her head and said worriedly, “I’m just a little worried about Sienna. She is usually silent, but she seems like a different person today. I don’t know if she will offend Master Harry inadvertently…”

As soon as these words came out, Keegan suddenly became worried.

“This rebel is getting more and more disobedient! I will have to discipline her to teach her a lesson later!”

Outside the villa, Sienna sent Harry all the way to the car. Kai had already pulled the car door open and was waiting by the side. Sienna stopped and said gently, “Safe travels, Master Harry.”

Harry raised his brows and took a step closer to Sienna.

The distance that was already somewhat close became even closer.

Sienna wanted to take a step back, but a cold object was stuffed into her palm. She clenched it tightly, and the expression in her eyes changed slightly.
