Chapter 4: Her life is ruined.

John and Milan watched Samanvay pacing around his room. He was seething in rage. "She called me an Orphan, she called me bad blood, father,” Samanvay snarled.

Milan's eyes met John's. Both knew how dangerous Samanvay could get in this mood.

"I can take care of this woman. I can punish her if you want." John stated and Samanvay stopped pacing around the room. He snapped his eyes to his friend and sneered, "Come again!"

John swallowed his saliva to wet his throat at the intensity of Samanvay’s angry gaze. "She insulted you for the second time, Sir. I just thought… "

"You thought wrong, John. She is going to be your queen. Take her name with respect or I won't warn you next time,” He stated and pointed a finger to his chest. “This is my revenge. My war against those snobs. Killing or hurting them is not the right punishment for them. Especially for Her!" He whispered, His eyes and tone darkened automatically at the thought of Manya Sehgal.

"She called me a disgusted swine. She is disgusted with my presence, I will make her suffer with my presence every single night. She called me bad blood! She is going to nurture this bad blood's children in her womb in a few weeks," He declared stabbing his finger in his chest with every word he was speaking.

John looked at him dumbfounded. "Samanvay. That girl hates you. Are you really going to make her the mother of your child?”

"Children, John. Not a child. She is going to bear more than one child for me. Five is a good number. She got soiled by my touch, I am going to soil every single part of her body every night. This is Samanvay Goenka's way to revenge that egotistical woman and her father."

Milan moved forward to his son. He didn't want Samanvay to spoil his life in anger. "There are thousands of other women. Far more beautiful than her, I don't want that woman to be a part of my family. She is not right for you, Sam."

Samanvay gave him a look of authority. "I will make her right for myself, Father. I want my children to have her blood in their veins.”

“Samanvay try to understand, that girl…”

Smanvay raised his hand stopping his father from speaking further. "Leave from here. I want to be alone for a while."

Both Milan and John knew there was no point in talking to Samanvay about this matter anymore. He had decided what he wanted to do, so they both left him alone as per his order.

Samanvay inhaled sharply to calm his mind and called Mr Singh. "Singh. If you want me to continue my business with you, do what I told you regarding Neel Oberoi."

Samanvay's eyes sharpened as he listened to Mr Singh's words. "Pray that what you just told be turn out to be true, Singh? Because if it didn't, I am going to make you regret them very badly,” He warned him before ending the call not even bothering with a reply.

He sat on his chair and leaned back in it, closing his eyes to calm himself. Killing someone was easy work for Samanvay. He could go and finish everything and everyone within minutes but He wanted to prolong her pain and suffering.

He wanted her body, yes. But now, He also wanted her pain and tears. His anger now would calm only when she would become his in every sense of the world. His to do anything he wanted to do with her.

.

.

Manya looked at the invitation card in her hand in pure bewilderment. She couldn't believe what she was reading. "Wedding invitation of Neel Oberoi and Sara Merchant."

She went numb. "Manya. Tell me this is not true. Neel cannot do this to you. To us!" Niam Sehgal asked his daughter but she was too shocked to answer him.

Niam moved forward and held his daughter's arms. "Manya!" He shook her hard. "Tell me this is not true!"

She finally blinked. Emotions clogged her throat, tears wanted to come to her eyes but she didn't allow them to pool in her eyes. Manya Sehgal never cries. She hates women who cry over men. She hates weakness. She hates being weak.

"Manya!" Niam once again shook her.

"Dad,’ Anav Sehgal entered his father's study. Niam turned towards his son. "What is it I am hearing? Neel is getting married to Sara?"

Manya stepped back from his father's touch. Her pride was hurt. The man she wanted to marry didn't even bother to break up with her before sending his wedding invitation to Her.

She was waiting for him to come back to India impatiently for the past two months and he sent his wedding invitation.

"I am tired, Dad. I want to rest for a while."

"Manya?" Niam started but Anav held his father's hand. "Let her go," he whispered as they watched Manya walking out of the study.

Anger and hurt. Manya was feeling both these emotions. She needed answers. She wanted to know why Neel cheated on her? She pulled her phone out to call but then changed her mind. Some questions better be asked face to face. She ordered herself to remain calm. Manya Sehgal knew how to stay strong in difficult times. And this was a difficult time for her.

.

"Congratulations on your upcoming marriage, Neel. I wish you all the very best for you married life," Manya said with a sardonic smile. She loved and respected up untill she received his wedding invitation.

Neel chuckled, He knew this was bound to happen. His heart ached for his beloved, the woman he loves madly but couldn't make her his. "Manya. I know you are angry with me but there is a reason I am marrying Sara."

Manya raised her brows and crossed her hands. "Trust me Neel. I can't understand that reason. When I received the invitation to your upcoming wedding, I thought it was some kind of prank but then there was this big announcement of it in the media, social media everywhere. Then I have to believe the news." She swallowed and uncrossed her hand from her chest.

"Why did you do it, Neel? If you would have told me that you no longer want to be with me. If you had told me that you wanted to marry someone else, I wouldn't have stopped you. Trust me, I wouldn't have. Just tell me why didn't you? I didn't deserve this disrespect, Neel Oberoi. I want to know why did you humilated me like this.”

Neel sighed and moved towards her. His heart was in pain, so was his soul. He could see the unshed tears in her eyes. He knew how badly she wanted to cry but was curbing her emotions. He raised his hand and rested it softly against her cheek.

"I am sorry for this. I am sorry, Love," he said with a heavy heart. The pain in his heart was clearly visible in his eyes and voice. "But I didn't have any other choice. My hands are tied, Love. I am sorry. But we can't be together in this life but I swear to God, Manya. No one will come between us in our next life."

Tears, she was trying to hold since last night descended from her eyes. She didn't care about them at this moment, her heart was aching badly. "What came between us in this life, Neel? You said you are going to talk to your father. What happened, Neel? If there is some issue, tell me, I will talk to your father. I will ask Dad to talk to him."

Neel gave her a sad smile. "I wish it was that easy but it's not. You know my father, he is not less than a tyrant. I went to talk to him but before I could he told me that he had fixed my marriage with Sara."

Manya frowned. "And you accepted his decision so easily?" She asked. "Just like that!?"

"Of course I didn't. You think I won't fight for our love? I denied marrying Sara but then he gave me a choice. Either I marry Sara or he will marry off Riya to Mr Merchant's son. Riya will turn eighteen next month and the man he will marry her off to is thirty-six. I can't put my sister in this condition."

"Neel? Is this really you? Riya will be an adult soon. She will be eighteen in less than thirty days. She can make her own decisions then. Your father cannot force her to marry someone. You shouldn't be scared of your father. He is only scaring you with your sister."

Neel shook his head. "You don't know my father like I do, Love. I can't put my sister's future in danger. My Mother gave me her responsibility before dying. Riya is my weakness and my father knows it."

"Neel, If you are worried about your sister, then we will keep her with us after marriage. I promise you that your dad wouldn't be able to do anything to Riya. I won't let him marry Riya to anyone."

"Manya, You don't know my father. I wish I could tell you but…" he sighed and shook his head. "My hands are tied, Love. I am sorry. As I said, We can't be together in this lifetime," he whispered, pulling her closer to him and placing a soft kiss on her head.

“I might be marrying someone else but remember, Manya. My heart will always beat for you. Only for you, Neel Oberoi loves only one woman and that woman is you. Only you."

Manya looked at Neel with lifeless eyes. Tears strolling down her cheeks. "You are hurting me by marrying someone else, Neel."

He took a step back and nodded. "I am hurting myself more."

He killed Her love with his words. She fisted her hand. "Your pain is nothing in front of mine. I am ashamed that I love a spineless man like you, you don't deserve me, Neel."

He nodded in agreement. "I know. You deserve a man who can treat you like a queen, Manya. A man who can stand against anyone for you unlike me."

Manya nodded, she allowed the fresh tears to come to her eyes. It was the final goodbye from her side to the man she wanted to hate but couldn't. "Goodbye, Neel. I hope we never meet again."

Manya looked at his beautiful face for the last time before turning around and walking out of there. Today, she closed the chapter of Neel Oberoi from her life. She closed her heart to the man she loves the most.

She thought she was strong enough to handle any pain but she was wrong. The pain she was feeling at this moment, it was too sharp to deal with. It was so painful for her that even her soul was crying in suffering. She closed her eyes and tried to breathe through her choked emotions but couldn't.

Tears were strolling from her eyes uncontrollably and she let out a heart-wrenching shriek. "I hate you, Neel. I hate you."

She cried but then she shook her head. "Don't cry, Manya. You are not weak. You can't cry over a man. You can't! Suffer this pain without tears, be strong!" She ordered herself and brushed her tears away before starting her car and driving aimlessly around the city to numb her pain.

But nothing worked. No matter how much she scolded herself. No matter how much she ordered herself to not feel anything, her heart was aching.

There was a havoc going on inside her, She needed to calm it down. Alcohol might be the thing she needed at this moment.

She stopped her car in front of the Bar and went to it to kill her pain unaware of the fact that a storm was waiting for her inside. A life changing storm!
