Chapter 10: His disturbing closeness.

Samanvay waited for Lisa's personal maid to come and call Him and Manya for breakfast but she didn't come. Instead, their breakfast was delivered to their room.

He could see the hype of Lisa's anger through this act. She didn't want to sit on the dining table with Him anymore. Her short hair and not dining together gave him an ache in the soul. And Samanvay hated it. It was killing him from inside.

He understood she didn't want to be anywhere near him until her anger calmed down. A sensible man would have waited for it but he couldn't wait that long. He needed to see her now. His emotions for her made him weak. So he went to her room and knocked on the door twice before crashing it open.

His shoulder dropped with a sigh when his eyes landed on Lisa standing against the window with her back to him. With another grim sigh he started walking to her. "Lisa?"
