"So what we heard was true. You really got married to Miss Sehgal, Mr Goenka." Mr Riki asked Samanvay with a broad smile on his face as he checked Manya from head to toe."You look beautiful, Mrs Goneka."

Samanvay chuckled and nodded. He opened his mouth to speak but his wife beat him to it.

Manya sharpened her gaze. She didn't like the way her host's eyes rolled over her body. Had they been alone, she would have taught him a lesson for waving his vulgur eyes on her body but they were among hundreds of guests. And Manya didn't want to create a scene. But she was going to talk about this party in detail with her husband. "You don't have to tell me, I know how I look, Mr Riki," she answered curtly and then glanced at her husband. "Excuse me, I need to use the restroom." She said and walked away from there to get away from there. Or she would have shown that man his rightful place.

Mr Riki's eyes turned harsh at her answer. "Your wife's tongue is too sharp, Mr Goenka."
