Rose is still taken aback by what she is looking at. The pain she feels is real so she is definitely not dreaming. She has been working for five years now and still hasn't been paid this much in all her years of working as a spy for her organisation. It's weird that this man paid her twenty times what she would usually get at once.

“What is going on? Why would he pay me such a huge amount of money? Is he on to something?“ She asked inwardly.

There's no way he would have paid her two million dollars just for having sex with her once.

“Excuse me, are you sure you didn't make a mistake? This is…” She tried to ask him but he shut her up.

“Two million dollars? Is it too small? Do you want more?“ He asked her.

She shook her head,”No… that's not what I meant. It's just that I didn't-”

“You satisfied me enough so I am in a good mood.“ He said, though his face showed no emotion.

“This is you being in a good mood?“ She asked him confused.

He sneered, “I don't think you and I should be having this kind of conversation now. I have paid you so I assume that everything I need to do has been done. You can get dressed and leave now.“

He suddenly turned cold towards her which makes her wonder what kind of person he is. If only she has some information on him, she would like him to be her next victim.

“What a jerk.“ She said silently and walked to the bathroom.

He sat close to window smoking while she dressed up. He didn't even turn back to look at her. She shook her head in disbelief. No wonder that other girl ran away, he is too much to deal with. He must be such a rich person to give away two million dollars like it's change.

“I'll be leaving now.“ She announced hoping he would turn to look at her once but he didn't even flinch.

She scoffed and walked out of the room where she met James waiting in front of the room. She frowned, glaring at him.

“Are you done?“ He asked her.

She felt like stabbing his face, but then again he actually did her a huge favour.

“What do you think? You've been standing here listening to us all along? Are you a pervert?“ She fired at him.

He shook his head, “I didn't hear anything. The room is soundproof so you can't hear anything from the outside.“

She didn't realize that could be possible. She sighed in relief knowing he wasn't listening. But she remembers something else.

“Excuse me though, don't you think you owe me an apology? You don't have a right to just pull people into a room for your boss without permission!“ She fired at him.

He nodded, “I was worried you wouldn't be fine when coming out. You're the strongest one I have seen so far. You seem to be fine if you are here talking to me like this.“

She checked herself then looked at him, “Are you kidding me you fucking-”

“I am sorry miss. I have to go attend to my boss.“ He went into the room before she could say anything else.

“Is it just me or do those people seem to be abnormal? What exactly is their job anyways? I wonder who he is.“ She asked herself before walking away.

She guessed her colleagues must have left. She took a cab back to her apartment and fell on the bed tiredly. She felt pain below and in her legs. The stranger she had sex with really worked for his money.

She checked her banking app to be sure the money was there. Then she saw that the money is still there. He really sent her two million dollars for just sleeping with her once. Would it be different to have met him before now? Perhaps things would have been different for her.

She has enough money to start a new life and live happily. What else could she possibly be looking for? She thought about the kind of life she has been living so far. Isn't it high time she stopped living like this?

She only has a few days for her contract with the organisation to end and she has already finished all of her missions. She can finally quit and live a decent life now. She only worried about how to speak to the organisation about it, wondering if they will let her go.

She works with very dangerous people and she knows what happens when someone wants to quit. However, she is ready to stop this life thanks to the stranger she met.

“I am going to start a new and comfortable life. I won't live the way they want anymore.“ She said determined.

The next day, she went to the organisation quarters to meet with her boss and discuss this with him. She bumped into Kay, who is her best friend in the organisation and also the right hand of the boss.

They both walked to the boss's office where they met him having sex with one of the workers in the office. Rose scoffed, while the boss stopped what he was doing and asked the naked girl not to move.

“What do you want? I am very busy right now.“ He asked Rose

She rolled her eyes, “I want to talk to you about something very important. Can you send her away first?“

The boss didn't hesitate to stop. Rose is the top gem of the organisation and the only one bold enough to talk to the boss like this.

“Go and wait first. I'll call for you when I am done.“ He said to the girl.

“Yes don.“ The girl answered and adjusted her dress, she gave Rose an evil look before leaving.

The boss adjusted his clothes and sat down. Kay stood behind him while Rose took a seat. She has never liked the boss and she hated the fact that she has to do all the work while he just sits back and enjoys the money.

“Try to be less irritating don Bernardo. I am getting tired of seeing this all the time.“ She told him irritatingly.

“What did you want to talk about dear.“ Don Bernardo asked.

“My contract will expire soon. I want to leave the organisation. I don't need any settlement from you. I just want my freedom.“ She blurted out without beating around the bush.

“Yes… you've worked hard all these years just to fulfil your duties. It's only normal that you want to leave but don't you think you are getting too ahead of yourself?“

“What?“

“Your contract has not ended yet. We can't let you go like that. You must do your job even if you want the settlement or not.“

She got pissed. She wanted to strangle him right there, but she tried hard to control herself.

“What's that supposed to mean? I won't get my freedom ever?“ She asked in disdain.

“Your job here is not done. You can leave once you finish your last mission.“ Don Bernardo insisted.

Rose couldn't believe what she was hearing. There's another mission left?
