I woke up at the sound of an incoming call from my phone—probably Kaia's demanding voice na pumunta na ako ng school. Kanina pa siya tawag nang tawag. Umattend kasi siya ng Pep Rally. Gustong-gusto niya makita ang mga athletes ng school—naiinspire raw siya.
I picked up the phone dahil hindi talaga ako titigilan ni Kaia hangga't hindi niya nakikita ang mukha ko sa school.
"Asan ka na?" nailayo ko ang tenga ko sa phone ko sa lakas ng boses niya.
