Preparing For War

Zara's POV

It was morning already, I almost didn't realize. I've been thinking about Rue throughout the night. If she's pregnant for the future Alpha of the Black Demon Pack and she's in the south, I should be able to find her.

I gazed at my small traveling bag that I already packed. I was having two ideas. Run and don't run.

If dad finds out that I want to meet Rue, he may disown me.

I walked to the bag and touched it. Immediately I heard the door opening,I pushed it to the floor and used my leg to kick it under the bed.

"Zara? Everything alright?" It was dad. I scratched the back of my head and laughed nervously.

"Nothing is wrong father" I replied way too quickly.

"Why weren't you down for breakfast?" He asked.

"I over slept" I lied, folding my hands.

"Are you worried about Rue?" He asked. I slowly nodded my head. Was he going to bring her back? He's really asking about her.

"Then don't! If you even think about her, I'll send you out of this house!" He yelled.
