Chapter 8 He Was A High-Paying Client

Penny’s expression was so candid that Caleb wondered if he was overreacting. He was not familiar with this aspect of the world, after all.

Caleb stood there gloomily, like a motionless sculpture of a god that people dared not look too closely.

As the elevator descended to their respective floors, Penny felt the need to fight for the future of the design studio.

Since she started working, she realized that her pride meant nothing most of the time.

After all, Caleb was a high-paying client.

"Mr. Fergerson, I’d still like to know your preferred style. I can give it a try. If you’re still dissatisfied later, you won’t be charged."

Caleb no longer knew what he could say to this woman.

He was fuming. However, he held back his emotions and answered, "Don't you already have a client?"

Penny was a little surprised. ‘Is Caleb worried that I won’t give him my full attention?’

Some designers did have several clients at the same time but Penny had always placed great importance on quality,
