Chapter 46

I was violently thrown down in front of Vincent's door; in pain, I heard a knock on the door, and then the group of men quickly disappeared. In the long, gloomy corridor, I was left alone for a moment.

Due to the gag, I couldn't speak or scream; I could only use all my strength to untie the ropes and get out of there before Vincent opened the door.
