Chapter 10: One Whom Miss You

“Cheers!” shouted the crowds. They all lifted up their cup of wine and drank it in one gulp.

Agatha lifted her cup, but she hesitated as she didn’t want to drink the liquor.

A striking young man sitting in the men’s seating area said loudly, “Now, if you don’t want to drink, how about I take the shot for you.” He was Prince Brayden Cerise of the Red Wolves pack. He was the oldest of the sons. He have red hair with brown eyes. His hair was tied up into a bun. He looked masculine and also very fit.

Agatha frowns at him.

He smiled at her and raised his cup to her.

“Who are you?” asked Agatha.

“Who am I?”

“Yes.”

“The one whom miss you.”

Austin frowned at his words.

Agatha shyly looked away from him.

The women around her were giggling as Prince Brayden was flirting with her. They complemented her on how pretty she was that even the hardest prince to impress was amazed by her dazzling look.

Prince Brayden down his cup of liquor.

“Couldn’t they talk any louder?” thought Austin. He gulped down his liquor as he tried to drown out their gossip from across the room.

Juniper’s hand clenches tightly. She had her eyes on Prince Brayden since they were little. She always wanted to be his mate, but for whatever reason he didn’t like her. He was always avoiding her like a plague. Every time there is a gathering among the wolves, he would be talking with other women but her. She would be frustrated and stomp her feet angrily. Even if she is throwing tantrums, he would just look at her like she’s mad and walked off with the women in his arms.

Agatha accidentally locked eyes with Prince Brayden.

Austin was gripping hard onto his empty cup.

Prince Brayden chuckled at her beautiful gaze.

Agatha lifted her sleeves to her face and turned her gaze away from him. She was blushing behind her sleeve.

Austin drank his cup of wine. He didn’t care if another man was complimenting her. Even if they flirted, he wouldn’t be jealous. For their bond wasn’t even strong to begin with. It wasn’t like they consummated their bonding to make them full mates. He wasn’t going to let himself be bothered by it. In one year, their marriage will break, and their bond will be destroyed. She will be off on her own, and he will be free to choose another mate of his liking.

Prince Bo Cerise, the second prince of the Red Wolves said, “Princess Agatha, I would also like to make a toast to you too. For I have never seen a woman as beautiful as you.”

Austin pretended not to hear what the other prince was saying and chugged another drink.

Agatha blushed and the other young ladies giggled, Austin’s face remained unchanged. He didn’t want to show his emotions that he cared for his wife, for he despised her.

“Pfft, that’s what you said to me the other day,” said Juniper looking at Prince Bo.

Austin’s head tilted towards Prince Bo. “So, this man was also trying to court her, when he said he wasn’t interested in her,” thought Austin.

“Of course, I did. However, after talking to you, I find that you are spoiled and very rude. Making you very unappealing.”

Austin frowned at his words.

“What!” exclaimed Juniper.

King Leonardo laughed loudly. “You will have to excuse my Juniper, for I love her so much that I guess, I must have spoiled her. I will have to teach her some manners.”

“Of course,” answered Prince Bo, bowing to him.

Austin turned his gaze over to Prince Brayden. Prince Brayden was pouring himself another cup of liquor. His eyes was still staring at Agatha.

Agatha was pretending to pick on some of the dishes on her table.

The other ladies continue to giggle at the attention that Agatha was getting from all the men in the great hall.

Austin felt something burning inside of him, but he doesn’t know what it is. Ignoring that feeling he poured himself another cup of liquor.

One of the prince noticing Austin drinking quite a bit said, “Brother-in-law if you keep going at that pace you will really be knocked out before the night even started.”

Austin lifted his hand up to him and said, “I’m fine.” His gaze glared at Agatha. But Agatha was not looking at him. She was too busy being showered with all the attention of the men in the room.

“A toss to the lovely lady, Agatha,” said Prince Paul Sapphire of the Blue wolves. He have long blue hair that is tied into a ponytail. He have brown eyes with long lashes. If one was to see him without his men clothes, they would think he was a beautiful woman.

Agatha shyly picked up her cup and lifted it up to him.

“If I have known that King Leonardo of the Great Grey Wolf have such a beautiful and talented daughter like you, I wouldn’t have hesitated to come see you myself,” said Prince Paul, gazing at her.

“Well spoken,” said Prince Brayden.

“She’s beautiful and well manner,” said Prince Paul, smiling at Agatha handsomely.

Agatha blushed at him.

“Tsk,” whispered Austin.

“Cheers,” said everyone.

Austin also down his cup of liquor.

Prince Brayden looked at Agatha and tilted his cup towards her.

Agatha saw Prince Brayden gesture towards her, and she looked at him. She saw his eyes yearning for her. She gasped in surprise, and quickly looked away.

Prince Brayden laughed softly.

Austin’s hand was clenching tightly onto his cup now. He wasn’t angry or jealous, but he was annoyed that his woman was actually get hit on by another man from another wolf pack. His woman was so beautiful that she was attracting everyone’s attention to her. The pulse on his neck started to throb as he could see her sitting radiantly across the room.

Prince Brayden raise another cup of liquor at Agatha.

Agatha didn’t drink her cup from before but raised her cup to him.

Prince Brayden chugged his cup quickly.

Agatha looked at her cup and was unsure how to drink this type of liquor. She was not fond of drinking liquor and didn’t like the smell nor taste of it.

Austin got up from her seat up to her and took her cup and drank it. He looked at her with a cold stare.

Unsure why he looked at her the way he did, she looked away from him.

King Leonardo chuckled loudly. “Looks like these two couples are still shy at one another.”

Austin stared at her, but she didn’t look at him. He frowned at her at her coldness. No women have ever looked away from him before. For he was a handsome young man. He was attractive in every aspect. He was highly skilled in magic. He was the best swordsman. He was good at hand combat. He was a smart and cunning ruler. He took over the kingdom at the age of sixteen and for the past five years have risen it into fame.

Agatha didn’t bother to faze by his stare. She doesn’t even know why he’s looking at her like that. It’s not like she did anything wrong. He doesn’t’ even like her, so why can’t he just act like she’s invisible just like he told her on their wedding night.
