Chapter 95. Letter to Blues

Anita gets really nervous standing there, wondering if Liam or his father are the ones in the office. She swallows and stares downward as Brown continues to attend to the client. The office line rings shortly after the lady steps out.

"Yes, boss..." Brown responds to the phone call, and Anita looks at Brown nervously. She doesn't want to lose her job yet, and she doesn't even know what the boss or his father is asking Brown about.

Brown puts down the phone and looks at Anita as he stands up to leave her office. "You can resume from where I left off, but don't come to work at this time next time."

"Okay." Anita smiles at Brown as he leave, and nervously settles in her office seat, still unsure who the boss is.

Anita quickly attends to the next client, an elderly woman. Just then, her office line rings. "Hello," she picks up nervously, glancing at the elderly client seated across her.
