Five years had passed since the events that had brought Jane, Dean, and their daughter Zoe back together. In that time, their lives had transformed in ways they could never have imagined.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the small town where they now lived, Jane watched from the porch of their quaint little house as Zoe played in the yard. The air was filled with laughter and the sound of birds chirping felt so peaceful that the Jane could almost think the moment was unreal.

Dean walked out from the house with a smile gracing his features as he joined Jane on the porch. His arm found its way around her waist, pulling her close as they watched their daughter with contentment that they had never known before.

"It's hard to believe it's been five years," Jane remarked, her voice soft with emotion.

Dean nodded, his gaze fixed on Zoe as she twirled around in the fading light. "Yeah, it feels like a lifetime ago. But look at us now, together, happy..."
