Side Story 2

Mae decided to take a break from her own complicated thoughts and get some fresh air. She threw on some clothes, not bothering with anything fancy, just something comfortable to clear her mind.

As she stepped out of her room, Kai didn't even notice her passing by him. But it was a good thing for Mae. So she quietly left her apartment and decided to go out for some coffee nearby.

While she was walking, finally enjoying her peace, a voice calling out her name halted her in her tracks.

"Maeve!"

That familiar voice made her turn to where it was coming from, and Mae's mouth almost dropped as she saw Calix driving a car while peeking through the window just to call her.

"Calix?! What are you doing here??" She nervously asked but didn't bother waiting for his response as she decided to walk away as fast as she could.

But it was to no avail as Calix parked by the side and got out of his car to chase after her. The moment his hand caught her, he immediately pulled her into a tight embrace.
