I don't want your goddamn job

Episode eight.

Hannah couldn't believe it, the same man that insulted her and called her a bad mom seems to be the CEO of the company, he was seated wearing a black and white suit that fit him perfectly, he looked handsome, his tie was neatly seated on his shirt.

He was also shocked to see her, she has been someone he prayed to meet again so he can make life miserable for her.

Hannah stand by the door side motionless, she couldn't walked in nor walked back.

"Are you gonna stand there or you will come in?" He finally said with a very cold tone.

Hannah gulped hard, she had never felt scared in her entire life than this time, she closed the door back and walked in gently.

She stand holding her hands rubbing her fingers.

He stood up and walked to where she was with his eyes looking dark.

"You are five minutes late!" He snapped.

"I'm...my son..."

"Keep quiet! You are that type of women's that always claim everything happened because of their sons to gain sympathy, this is your first day, what am I even saying? You are here for a job interview and you are late, do you expect me to wait for you or what!" He shouted.

Hannah couldn't speak, her eyes were getting teary.

He was so closed to her that she could feel his breath on her.

He walked back and returned to his seat.

"Sit!" He ordered.

She did without any objections.

"Your documents." He ordered again, with her hands trembling, she passed forward her documents, though life was hard but she managed to graduate with a first degree upper credit certificate from a very local university.

She watched him go through the documents.

He flings the papers at her.

"Seriously? Holland university and you expect to get job in a company like this?"

He yelled.

"I think it's not about the type of university I studied, is about what I can offer." Hannah replied finally.

"What you can offer? I don't think you have something to offer to this company, you already came late for your interview, or don't you know that punctuality is very important?" He questioned.

"I'm sorry for that..."

"You are sorry? I hate it when people make mistakes intentionally and then apologize for it." He cut her off.

That was it, she had heard enough, right now she doesn't care about the damn job, she won't allow him to continue humiliating her because she is seeking for a job in his company, she wouldn't have accepted to come for the interview if she has known from the beginning that it was him.

"That's enough okay, I'm here for a job and if you can't offer me the job then you tell me, you have no right to tell me what to do! I came late, yeah I apologized and you know what, I don't care about the goddamn stupid job, I'm out of here."

Hannah wailed.

Clark was so shocked, no one has ever snapped at him like that, everyone literally do worship him, everyone treats him with so much respect, he looked into her eyes and all the fears that he saw in her eyes earlier had disappeared, she grabbed her papers and made her way out of the office looking extremely angry.

He knew that he can't let her go just like that, without him making her pay for what she did to him.

"You are hired." He muttered.

She paused just as she was about to push the door out, she felt her heart beating faster.

"You got the job and your time starts now." He added.

She really wanted to accept this job but if he doesn't have no respect for women then she doesn't want his job.

She turned to him.

"No thank you, you can eat the job and rest." She said firmly and stormed out of the office.

Wow, he was speechless, her confidence and nerves had got him speechless.

He sat down on his chair and rubbed his beards.

"I have to make her work under me, I have to." He soliloquies.

"Nancy!" He yelled and the receptionist came running.

"Boss, I'm here." She replied.

"I know you are." He glared at her.

"The girl that just left, what is her name?"

Clark asked.

"She is Hannah Boss, any problem?" Nancy answered.

"Mr Mike booked her appointment right?"

Clark questioned.

"Yes he did, sir." Nancy answered.

"Great, send him an email immediately and inform him that she got the job and she should resume tomorrow, she will be my new secretary and state it in the email that I'm willing to offer her 1000 dollars monthly if she accept it." Clark instructed.

Nancy was surprised, 1000 dollars just for a secretary work? What's even so special about her, that's way too much money.

She stood there dumbfounded and that got him enraged.

"Don't you get it!" He shouted.

"Yes, yes I did." She replied nervously.

"Good, now get out!" He ordered.

She did immediately.

Hannah stopped a cab and entered with a broken heart, she felt her world been shattered again, how would she be able to take care of Joey without any job, maybe she shouldn't have left without accepting the job, but if he could be so rude to her even before giving her the job, what will now happen when she accept to work for him.

She wiped her tears and the cab alighted in front of her house, she paid him and headed inside, she unlocked it and entered, her uncle called her immediately.

She felt sacred to answer the call, she don't even know what to say to him, she didn't answer but he called again.

She sighed and answer it.

"Uncle Mike." She said.

"Congratulations sweetheart, guess what, I just received an email and you got the job, I'm so proud of you." He replied.

"An email? The job?" She questioned and opened her mouth.
