Scott’s POV

I took her soft lips in mine, not caring about the gloss nor the red tint of her lipstick that would stain my lips. All I wanted was to have a taste of her, to feel her warm body in my arms, the way she holds on to me like she’s holding on for dear life, while she melts into the kiss. It’s purely magical. By the time we pulled apart, she was breathless, heaving with her soft eyes fixed on mine. They were mesmerizing and I just couldn’t look away. We stood in that position, staring at each other, with one of my arms wound tightly around her slender waist, and the other resting on the nape of her neck.

Her eyes darted to my lips and she chuckled lightly.

“I’ll leave that as a mark to let the ladies know you’re taken,” She grinned, with gleaming eyes and I smiled, indulging her.

“And I wouldn’t mind wearing your mark, my love,” I winked at her before I leaned down to claim her lips one more time.

This time, a knock interrupted us, followed by the words of one of the maids.
