I rose to my feet, took her arm in mine and led her to my side. I proceeded to plant a kiss on her temple, while still smiling. For a second, she stilled, but glanced at me with a questioning look in her eyes.

“If I’d known horses would make you this happy, I’d have gotten some and built you a stable from the very first day,”
