“James, there are some things that doesn't need to be spoken, you know that right?” I raised a brow, staring at him.

“True but I have to explain what happened earlier.” He insisted while sitting down on the dining chair.

“I'm not interested.” I said bluntly and he looked disappointed and sad.

“What?...w… why?” He stuttered nervously, staring at me.

No doubt he was scared because of the way I would have reacted after seeing his video call.

“Have you forgotten we didn't marry out of love?” I raised a brow, staring at him and he swallowed hard on nothing, while staring at me.

It was high time I got used to it and also knew my position in this relationship. It wasn't only him that had the right to remind me of our contractual agreement.

Besides, I didn't want to get my hopes up in his life as he didn't look like one who was willing or ready to settle.
