It's past midnight and my daughter is not here yet" Estella bemoaned. The receptionist raised her shoulder in a nonchalant shrug, rolling her eyes insolently.

"Did she leave a message for me"?

"I have no idea, Ma'am. I was not here at the time" the receptionist answered. Estella let out a sigh of anxiety, deeply worried about her daughter's uncanny disappearance. She knew Amanda was engaged with this Gang and every day, she blames her dead husband for it. But she could not fathom this unannounced disappearance.

Her heart beat with anxiety and fear. She wondered if her daughter was safe.

"Is your bar active"? A male voice asked from the receptionist's position. Estella looked up and caught sight of a man standing by the counter. He looked like someone she had seen previously. She strained her mind to try to remember where and when they met.

"If by active you mean do we sell drinks and have customers who come to buy, then yes"the receptionist rudely responded.
