Chapter 3

Today as I put on the last touches to my face I walked out of my apartment and went to check if everything was running smoothly. Checking the booking book I noticed we had a reservation for forty people all from the police force. I closed my eyes and thought back to ten years ago when the blue eyed police officer saved me and changed my life forever. The phone ringing woke her up from my daydream, she huffed lightly and closed the book and continued on with her management choirs. At 6 pm the dinners of forty started to arrive directing them to their tables and handing them the menus she started to explain the meal of the day before leaving them to decide. Ten minutes later she sent a waitress to take there orders. Going about her routine she heard that soft voice that she couldn't forget from ten years ago. She turned around and her eyes locked with his, it was him Max the rookie police officer that saved her his deep blue eyes stared into hers for what seem like ages. She was wondering if he remembered her, stupid she thought to her self how could he she was only 9 years old. She has changed a lot  in ten years.  He sacknowledged her with a nod of his head and sat down in the empty chair that was reserved for him.
