Amelia’s POV“Ames, are you ready to go? The car is here!” Olivia squeals with excitement. I roll my eyes and expect her to come bouncing in here with excitement, and as if right on cue she makes a grand entrance with a twirl. Amelia’s POVThe ride took over 6 hours, and with a few stops to stretch and to use the bathroom we were able to make it just before 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Thank the Goddess! If I had to listen to Olivia’s playlist for one more minute I swear I would shift and jump out the window. I am pretty sure the driver was right there with me because one of the stops he came back with headphones of his own. We pulled up to a huge log cabin about 50 yards from a lake and took in the gorgeous 2 story home that spread out. You can easily compare this to the Pack House that is at the center of the Pack Lands over 2 hours from here. Even being part of the Beta family, I have never been here before. Amelia’s POV It took everything in me not to look back at him. I need to keep my head on straight and focus on my goal which is to NOW reject him and piss him off so much that he will reject me from his pack. I semi-listen as Olivia introduces me to everyone in the group. But my mind is still reeling from what just happened. I don’t think Noah knows what he will get with having me as a mate. He deserves someone with less drama and someone who is not already broken. I don’t need a mate anyways. I saw what happens with a mate bond first hand and it’s beautiful. Seeing the love my parents had for each other as well as me, it was perfect. Then the accident happened and I was the one who was left all alone. I was a shadow and barely making it through the day, even today I still feel like a shell of my old self. I never want to feel that way again, so I promised myself that day that I would not take a mate. I wouldn’t be able to survive a heartbreak that big again if something happened.

Amelia’s POV First crisis has been averted by switching rooms with Milo and Naomi. The next crisis is figuring out what to wear to the lake. After I get settled in the guest house and I start putting my clothes away, I notice that I don’t have a swim suit. Not that I normally pack one. I avoid the water like the plague. I just don’t want to be the odd one not wearing a suit tonight. I could ask Naomi who has a chest similar to mine but I feel like that would be awkward after the whole ‘Luna and Beta Female’ chat. I realize that the only option I have is to ask Olivia. We are no where close to the same size. She has the boobs you can go bra-less with and mine could never go with out. Noah’s POVAfter two quick breaths I start chest compressions again followed by two more breaths. This continues for a a few minutes with me refusing to give up on her. I can’t give up on her, I just found her.I just can’t lose her after just finding her. This can’t be our fate. Blake tells me we should switch out but what he doesn’t know is that my wolf is in control and I instantly roll out a command for no one to touch her right now. Olivia is a blubbering mess screaming for her to wake up. I’m right there with you Liv. She needs to open those baby blues for me. I need to see them at least one more time. I need to see that smile fall on her lips and to hear the sweet sound of her laugh. Everyone around me looks defeated but I don’t care if it takes 100 more sets, I am not stopping until her heart beats again. After the 10th set of compressions, water shoots out of her mouth and she starts coughing as she gasps for air. Thank you goddess! Thank you for bringing her back to me!
