Mina’s POV:

     Wait a damn minute. Am I in hell? Because if I am, I need to speak to HR. I didn’t even get a chance to plead my case, give a reference or anything. I’m about to start freaking out because, I’m not a “go to hell” and mean it type of person. I can’t do heat for five minutes let alone an eternity. I feel like giving my life to save a baby and a man should have gotten me at least joint visitation six months in heaven and six months in hell. “Mina, are you awake?” I heard the voice quietly say next to my ear. I tried opening my eyes, but it felt like I had sand in them. I decided to try speaking, but only let out something that sounded like a sick animal. “Wait right there let me get you some water.” I heard a voice whisper again. Who the hell is that? I have heard that voice before but couldn’t figure out who the hell it was.

        “SHIT! We need to move; they've found us.” The voice came again. Wait, what? Who the hell are they? I tried opening my eyes again, this time I managed to get them open enough to see the figure picking me up bridal style. Then the stranger turned his head to look directly in my eyes and I knew instantly who it was. “Blazes? You gotta be shitting me.”  I said, obviously shocked. “Hey, can we join the party? I hope you are serving food because we are famished.” I heard a man say, from the other side of what looked like a cave. I rolled my eyes, is hell still an option? Because I ain’t got the time nor the energy to deal with this foolery again. “Can you stand?” Blazes asked, looking down at me. “I don’t know, I just woke up. If I remember correctly, I got a stab wound in the side. Just put me down and I’ll figure out the rest, because I am not trying to be nobody breakfast lunch nor dinner.”  I said, bracing myself for the pain I was about to feel. Yea this shit is for the birds.

          Blaze put me on my feet, placing me behind him as two vampires came into what now know for sure was a cave. From the way it looked Blazed had turned it into a makeshift campsite. “Just how long have I been out? I asked backing up as the vampire came towards us. “If time is the same here as it is in the earth realm then it’s been about four weeks.” He said, still eyeing the vampires as they split up. “FOUR WEEKS! Oh my god!” I said, a little too loud. Smelling my arm pits. Because four weeks without a bath or some form of cleanliness means I may smell like something crawled in my mouth, got sick, died, came back to life took a shit, then died again. I don’t even want to know what my cookies look and smell like right now.  I have bigger problems right now though, because the vampires decided they were tired of waiting and immediately went in for an attack. Blaze swung his leg toward vampire number one kicking him in the neck, turned punching vampire number two in the jaw.

        “RUN! He turned to me as both vampires got up and attacked him at the same time. “RUN!? Who the fuck do you think I am the flash, in what movie have you ever seen where a big girl outruns a vampire and lives? I’ll answer that for you not a damn one, two, or three.” I said, as I did start backing up slowly towards the exit in case, he wants to make a run for it, I’ll be ready. “Hey beautiful, just where do you think you’re going? Why are you leaving the party so soon? I just got here, so the fun is just beginning.” I heard a hissing voice coming from the entrance of the cave. Turning around slowly coming face to face with a “Holy shit! what the hell man, how you gonna try and kill me? Dude you black that’s some fucked up shit right there. Just because you a vampire doesn’t mean you’re not supposed to look out.” I said trying to buy me some time. He just laughs, don’t try that shit with me. I have been alive for three hundred years I could care less about mortal problems.” He said, as he blurred pinning me to the cave walls.

         Hissing in my face, I felt the pain from my stab wound and screamed out. My arm began to burn, that’s when I remembered that I have this dragon on my arm that is supposed to come to life or something. “What did Lynn say I had to do. Shit not the time to have a brain fart Mina.” I whispered, than I remember her saying to just picture it coming to life. “I can smell your blood already; I might have to keep you alive for a while, until we can find a way out. He said, before he opens his mouth, as his fangs came out looking like snake teeth.

      As soon as he came down to bite my neck, I put my blade right through his fucking jaw. He Screamed in pain distracting the other vampires enough for Blaze to break one of the vamp’s necks and put his blade in the other guy’s neck. He shifted and ran towards me, I hopped on,  let me stop lying I climbed on like a 90-year-old who thought she had Megan knees in her twenties and now regret it. He took off into the colorful jungle full of shit that does more the go bump in the night. Let me tell yall what I’m sure you already know. I’m not liking none of this shit.

Shawna’s POV:

       Who the fuck gets kidnapped twice in one lifetime? How, is that even fucking possible? It ain’t, not in the human world anyway. But in this shitty supernatural world, getting kidnapped must be their go to. He hasn’t hurt me, but he hasn’t been friendly either. My attitude has been on ten because I’m still having pain in my back. The food sucks, I feel like every shifter has something against seasoning. If he brings me another raw fish, I’m gonna flip the fuck out. On top of all that he is always talking to his self. Right now, he has been pacing back and forth talking to his damn self. He stopped abruptly looking at me. I turned my head looking behind me looking to see if someone else was behind me. Because I do not want to be his focus. “Are you imprinted? Did Dradon imprint on you?”  He asked marching over to stand in front of me.

          “What? What the hell is imprinting, it doesn’t really matter, because Dradon didn’t do anything to me.” I said looking at him weirdly. “Do not lie to me, you are pregnant, and I can smell the scent of dragon.” He said angrily, his eyes turned black, and smoke started coming out of nose. My hands went to cradle my large belly. “I am not lying Dradon has never touched me in that way, and my babies’ father is Shadow a wolf shifter.” I said, which caused me to get emotional thinking about Shadow. I started to wonder if he even cares that I am missing. Or is he enjoying having his mate back, are they living happily ever after? I shake my head trying not to think about Shadow. Even dying and me saving him he still choose her. There was nothing for me to do but try and move on and raise these boys the best way I can. Well first I need to get the fuck outta here and away from this loony toon.

        I don’t have the time to be emotional about it. I needed to stay alive long enough for Lahni, Mina, and Lynn to find me. I just hope it is before I have my boys. Because I don’t think my kidnapper knows anything about delivering one baby let alone three, and I know I’m going to need whatever drugs they can give to make sure I feel no pain at all. Remembering what Lahni went through scared me to death. I’m really not trying to do this without drugs.

Back at the pack house:

Shadow’s POV:

    "Shadow you can’t be thinking of leaving again. You just got back yesterday.” Scarlett said, grabbing my arm as I packed my weapons and gear into a backpack. The familiar tingle irritated me. Ever since I found out what really happened in the realm, and what I had done.  I couldn’t get it out of my head, how Shawna must have felt when I called out Scarlett’s name after I woke up. Shawna had saved me not Scarlett. I didn’t find out what really happened that day, until I got back. We were having a pack meeting to talk about recuse effort to find Mina and Shawna. The Luna was determined to find them both no matter how long it took.

Flashback:

24 hours after leaving the rift:

Shadow’s POV:

           “I have searched for hours trying to follow her scent. I know she wasn’t still in the realm, because her scent lead out to the rift’s exit and into the forest. The dragon had attacked the witches as soon as he existed the rift. They said Shawna was still alive at the time. I followed her scent until I came upon the Bering Sea. Rane was furious, almost feral. Forced to go back to the packed house knowing that her family will be out looking for her. Those fucking dragons better have some damn answers, or I will kill them all. I thought as I made it back to the pack house. They were all in the pack house dining hall once I made it back. I hadn’t seen Scarlett since I left her with Hawk at the rift. Honestly l wasn’t looking forward to seeing her, my main focus was finding Shawna.

        “What the hell Shadow where have you been? Did you find Shawna?” Lynn asked once she spotted me entering the dining hall. She and Ji’lahni raced towards me with hope in their eyes. I hated that I had to tell them that I lost her scent and had to come back without her. “No, I lost her scent at the Bering Sea, he must have taken her across the sea. I came back here to request a chopper so I can continue searching. Where are the dragons? They need to be questioned. They have to know something about why he took her and where he may have taken her.” I said searching the dining area.

         “I am Lynx’s rider; my name is Cannon, Lynn’s baby brother; I have told your Luna and Alpha everything that I know. Lynx has a powerful spell on him, I have tried to connect with him, but he has me blocked. I am willing to help in any way that I can.” He said nodding at me with sympathy in his eyes. “Oh my god Shadow baby your back!” Scarlett screamed as she came into the dining hall throwing herself into my arms.
