Aria POV

I couldn’t enter my apartment. It was haunted.

It was haunted with memories of Nick. I could see him everywhere; walking inside, having dinner with me, kissing me, and having sex together. The countless passionate nights that we had together.

Without realizing I found myself crying again. My heart thumped erratically inside my chest and I felt like I was about to panic.

The wolf stood next to me without moving either. He was waiting for me to enter first. When I didn’t move, he looked up at me and stared at my eyes. His eyes were sharp and direct. I felt myself drown to his pool of silver eyes, like I was swimming inside and instantly calmed down. The feeling was new to me.

I took a deep breath and walked inside. The first thing I did was get some water and some food for my wolf.
