"Your... Your eyes, they are__" He stuttered as she quickly knew what he was talking about and blinked her eyes rapidly.

"Come on, Cee, what are you doing? " she said to her wolf's side and tried to suppress it as Cee spoke.

"I smell a threat, Cora. I think this guy here wants to harm us" She said as Cora took an awful stare at Joe.

"Whatever you are planning to do, Joseph" she stopped and regarded the frightened look on his face and resumed.

"You said I could call you, Joe. Right? Alright, Joe. Whatever you are planning to do, I'd advise you against it"

He stiffened and pulled his fingers away from the scissors in his pocket. He didn't know what made him think of harming her, but the murderous looks in her eyes told him she could be dangerous.

"Good" she gave a sinister smile and struggled, then stood from her sitting position on the bed as he watched her closely, just the way he would watch a serpent that had crept into his room.
