As we held each other, the gravity of the situation sank in. I knew that this was a risky endeavor, that the Rogues were a dangerous and unpredictable enemy. But I also believed in Tyler and Jake, in their vision of a world where wolves and humans could coexist peacefully. And I was willing to do whatever it took to help them achieve that goal.

With a heavy heart, Alexander picked up his phone and dialed Ethan's number. The seconds felt like hours as he waited for his second-in-command to answer. When Ethan's voice finally came through the line, it was filled with a mixture of surprise and curiosity.
