The remaining days went beautifully well.

Diego made those short moments so romantic between us, that I almost wished those days wouldn't end. But it had to come to an end eventually.

When it did, Mom, on Sunday evening, came over with Mr Smith to get me.

But before I followed her to our home, Mom told Diego and I that her wedding dress was set and she would like us to follow them to the designer's store in two days to get it.

She showed us the pictures of the dress and it left my heart aching with sadness.

"Just a week plus and we'll be a big family," Mr Smith said, caressing Mom in his hold.

When I saw how they were getting all lovey dovey and cozy, I directed my eyes at Diego.

He was just smiling at them both, congratulating them.

And I had to join him in doing the same, feeling troubled about the relationship between the both of us.

When I went in to get my things and leave, Diego and I met up in my room, staring at each other lost.
