Chapter 23

Andrew's POV

My chest and abdomen were padded to ease the pain and pressure from the shot.

I had been confined to this hospital ward for days under observation by the doctor while the police ran an investigation on the robbers.

I was still mad at Elena. She knew it. I had warned her against sharing live locations and I was sure as hell she had learned her lesson.

I glanced from the morning papers in my hand and stifled a yawn. It was about ten am and I already felt immensely tired. The drugs I was on were having a great impact on my mind. It was supposed to help me rest. I didn't want to rest.

I had businesses I had to run. I had deals I had to keep track of. Sleep was far off from me.

My phone was turned off for my peace of mind. Whoever cared enough was going to stop by. But there was a strict order on just who could visit and who couldn't. At this point, only closely knitted friends and family could visit.
