Eva

In spite of the fact that it took some time, Russell and I were eventually able to consummate our relationship and merge into a single entity. I don't think there was ever a point in my life when I didn't daydream about being in his presence. I was aware of the fact that I had never in my wildest dreams envisioned spending our first night together and losing my virginity in such a way, but in spite of this, I discovered that I enjoyed it very much, and the process moved fairly quickly. I also found that it was relatively easy to do.

After he freed me from the alpha's grasp, it fell on me to free him as well as myself from the situation we were in. I simply am unable to fathom a point in my life when I will no longer be able to call him a part of it.

When we were both walking and venturing further into the woods, I couldn't help but cast a few sidelong glances in Russell's direction every so often. I completely forgot to ask him about his plans for the future, which is an error that is even more embarrassing. I was only aware of the fact that we needed to separate ourselves from the pack and keep walking until we found another pack that was in the area.

As a result of this, I decided to pull Russell over and inquire about his future plans. "Russell, may I ask you if you have any plans?" as we proceeded on our way, we continued our journey.

Russell indicated with a nod that he would continue, "For the time being, the only strategy I have in mind is to get to the green warrior's pack so that we can get jobs and a place to live. All that's left is to pretend we're already mated and that we got lost on the way here and we lost our ID's, which is easy enough to do."

Even if we were forced to sleep in the same teeny-tiny room, I wouldn't feel sorry for myself about it because it wasn't a terrible idea.

A feeble smile was all I could muster before responding, "okay, then let's get to work on it."

In addition to that, we continued to walk slowly alongside one another for the remainder of the time. There's no denying the fact that the place had a very eerie and dark atmosphere. On the other hand, after traveling for slightly more than a quarter of an hour, we arrived in the territory that belonged to the green warriors' pack. The fact that it was already time for the sunrise, which was a very unlucky turn of events, was already the case.

At that precise moment, I was so weak and terrified to death; I couldn't have imagined that there were so many warriors standing at the borders of the territory. I didn't even know where to begin to imagine it.

I grabbed onto Russell's shirt, took a few shaky breaths, and asked him anxiously, "Are you okay?" "There are an excessive number of warriors. What if even just one of them discovered that we are trying to keep something from them that they should know?"

It was very close to the point where I started speaking in a manner that sounded as if I'd lost my voice.

Russell gave off the impression that he was anxious as well, but he made a concerted effort to reassure me that everything was going to be okay. He gently cupped his large hands around my cheeks while speaking to me, and he said, "Don't be concerned, absolutely no one will ever find out. We are going to emerge victorious in the end. However, once we reach the gates, I would appreciate it if you could excuse us and go to the restroom. Okay?”

I frowned and asked in a tone that suggested my confusion, "But how come? What if they made the decision to stop me from proceeding further?"

He questioned me in a condescending manner while flashing me a sly grin "look at you? Who among us would have the nerve to stand in the way of a girl who is so breathtakingly gorgeous?"

I leaned in close to him and gave him a passionate peck on the mouth, and I couldn't help but feel that his reassuring words were giving me a boost of self-assurance as they were doing so. When I was with him, I always had a sense of security; however, at this time, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was getting weaker and that I could lose him at any moment. Although I always felt safe when I was with him, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was getting weaker.

After taking a few slow, deep breaths, we looked over our appearance, making sure that our clothes and our hair were in order, and then we walked up to the entrance gates. Russell approached the warriors and greeted them, stating that he and his companions were looking for work in the area. The warriors took Russell's greeting in stride and stood there after acknowledging it.

After conducting a cursory search on each one of us, they questioned us by inquiring about our identities after they had finished the search.

Russell gave a shrug of the shoulders before saying, "Unfortunately, we were unable to locate them while we were walking for all of this distance; my car broke down, and as a result, we had to walk for miles before finally arriving here. Even Eva is feeling the effects of the extensive distance she has traveled while wearing her heels, which has caused her to experience extreme fatigue. Could you please give her some privacy while she uses the restroom so that she doesn't have to interrupt you?" He then approached them in a respectful manner and inquired of them.

After that, one of the leaders interfered and asked me, "before letting you go to the bathroom, let me first ask you who you are," after which I was prevented from going to the restroom.

Russell was the one who initiated the conversation by stating, "I am Russell Kingstone, and her name is Eva Kingston."

However, when the manager scrutinized my actions more closely, I hastily responded, "we are siblings. I am his younger sister."

I don't know why, but I felt compelled to tell them that we are siblings so that they would stop asking us for things over and over again.

I could tell by the look on Russell's face that he was taken aback; I was sure that he had no idea that I was going to say something like that. He looked at me, and I could tell by the look on his face that he was surprised. On the other hand, I simply do not feel at ease claiming that we have mated just yet. What if they questioned us about our home, our neighbors, our courtship ritual, or any of our relatives? I was aware of everything there was to know about him, but I was not familiar with all of his relatives. I was aware of everything there was to know about him.

When I turned my attention to the ground below me, the leader finally said to me, "Okay, you can finally use the restroom." I felt a sense of relief. Before allowing you to join the pack, I must first speak with your brother, so I ask that you kindly permit me to do so."

I gave a hushed nod and almost dragged my feet until I reached the public restroom, but I was so intent on getting there that I didn't notice that I had entered the men's room by accident. I was so intent on getting there that I didn't notice that I had accidentally entered the men's room. An elegant man spun around and stared at me as if he had never seen a she-wolf before, but as he came closer, I could tell he was an alpha. His body odor was potent and recognizable, but his gaze was an entirely different thing; it was as if he could read my mind just by the intensity of the look he gave me. His odor emanated from his entire body.

I quickly cast my eyes downward and mumbled, "Excuse me, but I didn't know this was the men's room."

After that, I retraced my steps back to Russell as quickly as I could after dragging my feet as quickly as possible out of the room. Before I could get to them, Russell gave me the assurance that everything was in order by simply nodding his head in response to my question. Following that, he thanked the leader for his assistance, took my hand in his, and said, "let's go; I arranged everything."

I couldn't stop shivering despite my best efforts. Despite this, I had no idea what was going on or why it was happening. On the other hand, I just couldn't get that dominant impression out of my head!

Because my hands were chilly and I was trembling slightly, Russell thought I needed a jacket; he asked me, "Do you have a jacket?" "are you okay?

Take my jacket."

I let out a sigh of exasperation and begged him to leave while shaking my head in an effort to get his attention. "Can we take a taxi?"

After examining the contents of his wallet, he stated unequivocally, "yes, I do have money."

Because I was running so late, I had to quickly put up my hand in order to get a taxi to stop. We should give thanks to the gods that this pack was so big and that they had a small airport not far from the boundaries of their territory. As a result of this, there were a great number of stores and taxis; when the taxi finally stopped, I said, "please, let's go," and we left. I uttered those words to the driver despite the fact that I had no idea where we were going. The only thing I wanted more than anything was to get as far away from that place as possible.

The conversation that was supposed to take place between Russell and I never took place. He did nothing more than look at me in an odd manner and that was it.

The taxi driver, on the other hand, enquired, "so to the nearest hotel?"

The following is what Russell said in response to my question while keeping eye contact with me: "I would like to accept that. However, you should make it into an Inn. something that does not put an undue strain on one's financial resources."

Because of this, the driver simply nodded his head and then continued driving.

We had been on the move for fifteen minutes when we finally arrived at the inn, which indicated that we were sufficiently separated from our pack and the border, as well as from the strange alpha that I had unexpectedly encountered in the restroom.

I let out a long, satisfied sigh as soon as we set foot inside the inn after our long journey. After Russell had made the reservation for us, the two of us went ahead and checked into the room that had been reserved for us. As soon as I walked into the room, I heaved a sigh of relief and thanked God that we were safe now that we were away from the danger.

However, I failed to take into account the possibility that Russell could be upset as a result of what I had said at the beginning of the pack when we were all gathered together.

"Did you just say that we are related as brothers and sisters?" His exasperation was almost audible as he asked, "Why didn't you tell them that we are mates?" It appeared as though he was going through a great deal of frustration at the moment.

I heaved a sigh and stutter-talked my way through it, "I must apologize; I do not understand why the leader was staring at me for such a prolonged period of time, but it made me feel uncomfortable. After doing some thinking, I came to the conclusion that it would be beneficial for us to spend some time acting like siblings."

Russell continued to be unconvinced, and as a direct consequence of this, he was very angry with me. Despite this, I made an effort to provide further explanation of my position in the expectation that he will grasp the nature of my worries. In the hopes that he would understand my concerns, I told him, "Listen, we are away together, and all of our pack knew that you killed the alpha because you love me," and I hoped that he would listen. "Given these circumstances, everyone expects that a couple who is in love will run away together. However, because of the changes in the situation, we are no longer mates here. Our connection is very similar to that of siblings. If anyone inquired about us, the response would be that none of the other members of our pack had made it to this location. Got it?"

Russell furrowed his brow and nodded his head before saying, "okay, you convinced me, but you did have a point."

After giving him a tender kiss on the lips, I looked around at the filthy room and said, "This place is disgusting." "It's too cramped, and it's filthy. Do you feel comfortable saying that this location is free from danger?"

Russell exhaled deeply, took a few seconds to take in his surroundings, and then he said, "I'm afraid that until I find work, we'll be stuck in this place for the foreseeable future. I am not able to condone the waste of our resources by permitting the purchase of hotel rooms."

I could see things from his perspective, but if I were being completely honest, I just couldn't bring myself to spend the night in that room. It served only to illustrate how gloomy the prospects for our future may be. What a fantastic way to kick off the very first day of having the new back! Then, what would take place if we were unable to locate employment that was suitable for us? It's only a matter of time before our money runs out, but that could happen at any point in the future.

As soon as Russell saw how disheartened I was, he said, "I told you to stay there." I felt even worse after hearing those words.

I scowled at him and asked in a hushed tone, "Are you serious?" "After everything that the two of us have been through together, you have the audacity to say something like that. We share the same room and are best mates. I won't be going anywhere without you."

After that, I went to the door, locked it with the keys, and then went back to where I had been standing and said, "Well, at least we can continue doing what we started a couple of hours ago."

I thought it would be a good idea to do something to pass the time while also putting our minds at ease, at least for the duration of the first night we spent with the new pack.

We were told a lot about how enormous and incredible that pack was, but we never went there to see it for ourselves despite the fact that we heard a lot about it.

I was pulled onto Russell's lap, and he whispered something into my ear: "yes, we should continue now." "But first, before we get to that..." Following a moment of silence, he addressed me directly as follows: "I believe that we ought to look for something to eat right now. Please give me permission to go to the store and get something to eat for the both of us. It has not escaped my notice that you are searching for something to eat."

I concurred and then responded, "okay, sure. Please allow me to come along with you if that is acceptable to you."

Before he continued, he leaned in close and planted a kiss on my forehead "You cannot leave at this time. Take a hot shower and get dressed before we meet again." When he winked at me, I couldn't help but feel embarrassed and awkward about myself. I loved him more than anyone could ever have any reasonable expectation of being able to love another mortal being. On the other hand, I was totally unaware of the fact that our love was doomed to end at some point in the future.

I was left in the room by myself after Russell left, and I had no idea that he had hidden all of the money under the mattress because he had closed the door behind him and locked it. Due to the fact that my room did not have its own private shower, I was required to use the shower that was situated in a hallway that connected two other guest rooms. After I had completed what I needed to do, I was taken aback when I heard Russell calling my name and telling me, "sweetheart, I am here."

When I arrived at his spot in a flash, I was clad in nothing but a towel that was wrapped around my body. I felt as though there were tiny droplets of water covering every inch of my body. Russell leaned in close to me and licked the inside corner of his mouth seductively before saying, "I think I should eat you first."

I had a flushed complexion, "I believe that the very first thing that we ought to do is to eat. Due to the absence of a private shower, I was forced to make use of the bathroom and shower that are located between the two rooms. In my opinion, by tomorrow we ought to have found a room that is not only hospitable but also within our budgetary constraints." Because I didn't feel particularly at ease in that environment, one of the reasons I made the suggestion was because I thought it might help.

Then, however, Russell's eyes widened, and he asked me, "do you mean that you left the room and didn't lock the door?"

After a brief pause, I responded, "no, I was unable to lock the door." I did not understand.

Then suddenly, Russell reached his hand under the bed and yelled, "Oh my God! someone stole our money."

As I stumbled over my words, I was shaking "What? Just what exactly do you mean?"

Russell's hands were concealed as he clenched his fists and gritted his teeth in rage "I forgot to bring my wallet with me, so I left all of my cash behind. I brought along only a few dollars with me with the sole intention of using them to purchase the meals."

And at that precise instant, I was perilously close to losing consciousness altogether. What was in front of me was so dark that I could only make out the deepest shadows. I could see death drawing near, and I could also see a life of torment stretching out before me.
