THIRD PERSON POV

Taurus was fast asleep after Miranda took him out for a run. She didn't want to kill those poor deer, but she didn't have a choice. She was tucked away for the most part as Taurus devoured his meals. Then he ran for an hour before taking a swim in the lake in the woods.

Miranda was still wet from her shower. She was halfway finished with getting dressed when Valko burst into the room.

“What in God's name!” She shrieked.

“No time to be a girl, Miranda, but we have big problems,” Valko told her and Miranda fretted. She couldn’t take any more unpleasant surprises.

“What kind of problems?” She asked.

“Well, for one, your parents are here demanding to see the Alpha and two, your fucking parents are here demanding to see the Alpha! You know how crazy Nigel's dad can get?” Valko shouted.

“Yeah, I think I got the memo when he bought a girl for his son to marry. Like, who does that?” Miranda scoffed.

“Come on. Vel and the others are waiting for you.”
