‘Don't be mad at our mate!’ Keke growled at me.

The stupid wolf. This Alpha tossed us aside as if we were a contamination. It was my right to be madder than a puffed toad. Why should I shred my anger like a snake its slough?

"Where the hell were you all along? I needed you and you were gone." I snapped at her in my head. "Do you know how much pain I went through? If this has something to do with him, I will be mad."
