“Mate,” my wolf, Keke answered back and white pearly teeth shone through a genuine smile. Of all the months that she disappeared, today she chose to show up, just like he did.

My mate?

Everything halted at the training ground and everyone was speechless. We were the center of attention.

My blue sapphire eyes bore into his emerald green orbs. Feelings of completion, love, and belonging stormed through my body. Dumbfounded and awestruck, my foolish emotions went into overdrive at the sight of him.

He said nothing as though our eyes were doing all the talking. There emerged a vague sensation of familiarity that was pegging my brain, but I could not put my finger on it. His eyes resembled those from my dream.

He was so close. His strong-fingered hands on my waist seemed to anchor me to the spot, caging against his powerful body, the wall of his chest in the immaculate black shirt acted as a formidable barrier between me and any effort to escape. I could look nowhere
