*** ESMERALDA'S P.O.V Continues ***

She hurried to the stream and dipped her mouth into it, sucking the water into her mouth and the cool sensation rushing down her throat. She was still enjoying the cool water when she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around swiftly and her eyes went round in shock. Wolves. Big block wolves. It was her first time seeing wolves and her heart sank into her stomach. This was the end of her.

The wolves growled at her and she shrieked in fear. She wanted to run but she knew wolves were better runners, they'll catch up with her in no time at all. She sat still and started crying. Then she saw one of them transform.

Her eyes were about to pop out of their sockets with shock and disbelief. Werewolves. It was their leader that transformed. A tall man but not handsome.

"Who are you?" His rough voice sounded mean. His brows knotted and his face squeezed up. She swallowed the lump in her throat and began to beg for mercy. She was only but a poor orpha
